Fantastic walking trip to Madeira. The guide, Joao, was outstanding. Huge thanks to him for everything. The itinerary and walks were a good balance of traditional tourist activities and something a bit different. Hotels were great. Overall, a fantastic holiday.

Lovely area to walk , good restaurants in the town, not much travelling by taxi to get to the walk each day, hotel was of a basic but very good quality.

I cannot speak too highly of our Tour Leader Rocio- she was thoroughly professional in every respect- also knowledgeable, organised and very affable! Tavira itself was a very nice town and it was very pleasant to stay in the one hotel for the duration of the holiday- not having to pack/ unpack every day !

We had a wonderful time. The only thing I wasn't in love with was the day in Porto. I wish we had the option of free time. We spent 2 hours walking around and way too much time in the train station talking about tiles. I think we had 30 minutes at the end of the tour which wasn't enough time to get something to eat and/or shop. Joao is an excellent tour guide. He is very patient and very knowledgeable of the area.

Correctly Graded for me. Not a regular exerciser but have done other Walking holidays. Not easy but doable with a bit of effort. Took a first timer and he had a great time even with stiff legs by the flight home. Really good introduction to a lovely island and not a long flight from the UK. At times it really felt like you were on the edge of a little bit of wilderness but soon back to the comforts we’re used to. Guide (Joao C.) lived his Job not only did it. Excellent. Explore know what they are doing.

The group bonded very quickly so we had lots of laughs and plenty to talk about. It made a difference to have a range of nationalities so there were many interesting discussions as we made our way through each day's walk. Our tour leader was Bert, who did an excellent job of organising our itinerary and marshalling all 15 of us into our taxis, or to the local restaurants for dinner each evening.
