The tour was exceptional including the hotel with one exception. We were not aware that we needed to request a walk in shower but it worked. Our tour guide was also exceptional with no exceptions. She was delightful each day and explained the sights and the history of the country thoroughly. I would highly recommend this trip and guide. C.Mike Hickey

Portugal itinerary was well planned and we saw many places in a short time. Travel Director was excellent — efficient, knowledgeable, great humor. The small towns like Nazaré, Óbidos, Braga, and Tomar were a highlight. One suggestion: some optional tours could be added to the main itinerary. Purchase of tour from our agent Master Holidays has always been smooth.

Fabulous

It’s now two weeks since I returned from Portugal and I wish I was back walking the wild Algarve. The unspoiled coastline was spectacular with few tourists, just surfers riding the huge waves. Also what was so noticeable was the fact that there were no litter bins but also no litter anywhere - the environment is truly respected.

We covered a lot of ground (Atlantic Ocean to the mountains, City to the small towns) and saw lots of wonderful things. Our Tour Guide Kathryn Kuypers and bus driver Fernando were SPECTACULAR!! Meals were nice, excursions fabulous (seeing the cliffs, vineyard and tile making stops and the cork making were great). Had some nice location specific guides that were great too. Hotels were nice, roomy, clean (except 1 location) and close to food or beverage pick up for meals not covered. Lagos was my favorite (The hotel was amazing: Vile Gale was my favorite and walking to the beach was so convenient). Go when it's cooler in the shoulder seasons.

Our guide, Pablo, was outstanding! As was our driver and lunch maker extraordinaire, Bill. Pablo was supportive, concise in his explanations of what to expect each day while cycling. He has a fun sense of humor and a positive attitude. In addition to all of that, he is so very interesting. Bill is kind, humorous and a fabulous "cook", making excellent picnics for us. The cycling itself was just right for each day.
