Reviews of our Portugal Guided Tours
Guests share how our guided trips made Portugal seamless and insightful.
I especially enjoyed the local tours that included family wineries, distilleries, tile- making artists and the cork farm. Souvenirs, gifts and magnets I purchased are significant reminders of parts of the trip that I will never forget. Our tour guide, Joao, took good care of us, in sooo many ways that were above and beyond what a tour guide would ordinarily do; I appreciate his bringing my "left-in-the-hotel" cell phone to the airport and getting it to me before my flight departed Lisbon!
Very good itinerary and we extended to have more time in the Algarve which was amazing - only thing I would add is a few more days in Porto to hit some of the amazing vineyards
I wish it was longer, I've done it in Christmas and new year and it was so good since the local people were partying too with us. I wish I've done the other leg of trip too before to see the full Spain.
The itinerary allowed us to see the traditional tourist locations as well as visiting locations that we would not have seen if traveling on our own. The be my guest lunch with a local family and dinner at a family owned vineyard allowed us to experience more of the local flavor of Portugal and the people.
All of the tours were excellent. Loved the restaurants, wine tastings, history lessons, etc. My favorite experience was the local shopping and experiencing the famous custard dessert. Loved the Port wine.
The tours in Óbidos. So up close and personal. Really felt the cultural aspect of the city and people. Tour Manager John was spectacular! He navigated me through a very difficult medical emergency while traveling. He went above and beyond the call. Best vacation ever!
