Overall it was a great trip. All the hotels that we stayed at were very good. Lagos was definitely our favorite. The Cork factory, Gin distillery, and wine tour were very good. The walking tours were very informative. Enjoyed the history and culture.

Flight accomadations were horrid. Need to do a better job with flights. Connecting flights. Layovers. Ect But our tour guide was exceptional. Very knowledgeable. He made the trip great!!

The new year’s eve gala was really memorable. Despite the rain it cleared enough at midnight to enjoy the show from the rooftop of the hotel. The accomodations were really nice and the food was always good. The trips around the island were really interesting. We had trouble getting there but that was because of the holudays and a very bad snow/ice storm in the northeast united states which caused cancellations and delays across the country.

Very good overview of Portugal. However, would have liked to spend more time in Lisbon. Would have appreciated if there was a local guide to show the Alfama district, the castle and explore the local food scene.

I found this trip to be a perfect pace. Our tour allowed us to spend 2 days in some cities. The director was knowledgable. He was concerned about people with dietary restrictions and made sure where we ate know about the allergies. I will definitely use this company for future trips.

The tapas crawl was a particular highlight, giving us the chance to sample authentic local dishes in places we would never have found on our own. The sangria tasting was great fun and added another dimension to understanding the local culture and traditions. Our leader was also fantastic at helping us discover excellent restaurants offering superb food at very reasonable prices, which made the trip even better value. There was a perfect balance between organised activities and free time to explore independently. The walks were enjoyable and varied, the wine experiences were authentic rather than touristy, and every day brought something different. I would highly recommend this holiday to anyone who enjoys combining gentle walking, great food and wine, cultural experiences, and the chance to discover both Spain and Portugal in depth.
