Portugal Tours in March 2027

This tour was excellent. Our leader Rocio and her intern Vince are lovely people with generous souls, who did everything and more to ensure that all in the group were valued and supported in the individual ways needed.. the hotel Maria Nova was a perfect base. The itinerary challenged my personal capacity but Rocio and Vince encouraged and ensured I was able to meet my challenge. A wonderful opportunity to really experience and understand the Algarve, its environment and its people. Finally, with a diverse group of travellers, there was opportunity for both group bonding and doing one’s own adventure!

A lovely week enjoying the coastal footpaths of The Algarve with a very attentive guide, well organised local transport, and a good variety of easy walking trails & lots of wildflowers. The accommodation was well located in Sagres, with very helpful staff and it was good to have use of a kettle with little cakes, nuts, snacks available at all times. Having a 2nd coffee machine at busy breakfast times would have been nice but the selection of food was great.

The tour was fabulous and Diana our tour guide was delightful. She was full of local information and happy to give recommendations on any topic. She was kind and considerate as well, and she treated each one of us as a beloved family member. She kept our group running like clockwork, and it was easy to navigate the multitude of destinations that we visited with her leading the way. With that said, I never felt rushed, I felt the pace of the trip was just right. Time to go, go, go, and time to rest and relax on our own. Our bus driver was excellent as well. My favorite part of the trip was the sailboat trip along the Algarve coast and the tour through the caves. It was exciting and beautiful. But I also enjoyed our many tours, including the tile factory and the cork factory, and the history and culture of Portugal that we learned along the way. Our fellow travelers were good natured and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour.

Every thing about this experience was wonderful. Our guide Diana was the most kind compassionate knowledgeable person and we all really bonded. I will definitely be traveling with collete again.

Excellent.Visited all places according to the itenerary. The selection of spots to be visited was very wise. I enjoyed all the places especialy Pinhao. The scenery on the route to Pinhao is maevellous and I will never forget it.

Rocio was a wonderful guide. Charming and funny, but also very organized and good at corralling us when she needed to. I enjoyed the walks and my fellow travelers very much. Highly recommend. The walks were lovely.
