Portugal Beach Tour Reviews

Honest insights from past guests on our Beach Portugal tours

Excellent & jam-packed. Loved all the medieval towns, churches & history. We, as seniors, got a little weary towards the end as we had undertaken all the optional extra experiences, so had very little down-time.

This itinerary is perfect. Not to rushed and you never leave to early. There is a lot of history in Portugal which I was not aware of. All the local specialists were fantastic and they were passionate about their subjects. Just a wonderful tour.

The organisation and tour director Nuno were first class. I was concerned initially that 51 people on a bus would be problematical however my fears were needless. Nuno posted a seat plan each morning so that everyone moved daily which removed the bustling for favourite seats. We never had to wait for our room when arriving at a hotel and our bags magically appeared in our room and were whisked WY in the morning and back on the bus.

This trip provided a full and comprehensive tour of the entire mainland country of Portugal. We saw the west coast, the south, the east coast (we saw Spain at one overlook point) and the Douro Valley north to Porto, and down the west coast back to Portugal. Lots of sights, lots of wine tasting and food, and plenty of time to hunt for souvenirs of filigree, cork, embroidered items and more.

Very well organized excursions! The tour director and driver ( and ) were excellent. This itinerary was extensive and covered most of the scenery of Portugal. Despite the fact that there were 52 travelers in our bus we were generally on time during the entire trip. The meal experiences were pleasant and tasty as well.

Great itinerary. Hits all the best spots in Portugal, plus some exclusive local experiences, like the Lusitano horse farm and lunch, and the finale dinner at a local winery. I also liked all the optional experiences, such as the Fado dinner and the Porto river cruise with port then dinner. It was very convenient to add and pay for these during the tour.
