Portugal 10-Day Tours and Trips

I had never been on a tour planned by a company before so did not know what to expect. That is the only way I will travel from now on - pay my money, get on the plane and have enjoy! I think the memory that I least expected, was enjoying and learning about cork. I had NO idea you could make so much with cork! I also liked that all the businesses we toured were family run operations. They have a passion for what they do, they know their product from start to finish and could answer any question thrown at them.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Country Roads of Portugal tour. Our tour director, was wonderful, so accommodating, knowledgeable, engaging and went the extra mile to make sure everyone was well taken care of. Our driver, was incredible. He swiftly problem solved in an unexpected situation and our group always felt safe with his experienced driving skills. The (extra leg room) coach, scenery, extra activities, meals, hotels and local experts were five star in every respect. We would highly recommend this tour, especially for experiencing the less traveled countryside of Portugal. It's a beautiful country!

Provides a really good taste of some of Portugal’s most beautiful cities, towns and countryside. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the hotels were excellent, coach very comfortable and tour director excellent.

I had a fantastic experience through out the entire trip. It was well organised but no pressure to do certain activities. Recommendations for activities or restaurants were very high and I was fortunate to meet such an a wing group of people

Great trip…wonderful driver & tour leader..only glitch was with Goway who we purchased the tour through…they made a mistake when booking our requested extra night at end of tour which ended in Porto where we had tickets for train to next destination…they booked hotel over 100 km away but it said Porto on itinerary…luckily our Blue Roads tour leader told us where it actually was a few nights before…Goway didn’t want to admit their mistake and wanted us to pay for changing…worked out in end after much back & forth …we travel a lot…not sure would use Goway as booking agent again.
