Not enough time to explore in Algrave. Long drive to stay in the wine region only to really stay one night isolated from everything and be back on the bus by 8:30. That was disappointing. There were days where we too long between rest breaks and therefore too long on the bus.
Its a good trip to see most of the country as north or south Portugal are different We had a small group of 26 what is just perfect.
Very good overview of Portugal. However, would have liked to spend more time in Lisbon. Would have appreciated if there was a local guide to show the Alfama district, the castle and explore the local food scene.
2 of the hotels were not up to what I consider Insight quality. Too much down time and time spent just riding in the bus.
I found this trip to be a perfect pace. Our tour allowed us to spend 2 days in some cities. The director was knowledgable. He was concerned about people with dietary restrictions and made sure where we ate know about the allergies. I will definitely use this company for future trips.
