Cultural Tours in India

We saw some amazing sites throughout Rajasthan. The Taj Mahal (Agra not Rajasthan) was all we expected it to be. There is more time on the bus than anticipated, however, the bus was extremely comfortable and we had adequate breaks. The hotels ranged from very good, to 3 that are exceptional. Our guide was knowledgeable and took very good care of us. The Indian food was toned down to our tastes and was plentiful. Most of it was buffets, so my only disappointment is that I really do not know any more about Indian food than when I began my trip. But I enjoyed what I ate. We very much enjoyed the Indian people and culture. The people are so very friendly and happy. One of the surprises was the door-to-door service. It started us off feelling pampered to have a private car service to the airport; but it really paid off at the end of the trip after we had been traveling for 48 hours. What a lovely touch.

This tour was a wonderful combination of culture, nature, and calming moments on the water. The regional cuisine was excellent. Our trip advisor was attentive and conversational, entertaining all questions with knowledge and patience. It was my first solo tour as an elder tourist and the value and length was a good experience to get my feet wet. The region and people were great and the facilities and transportation were excellent.

The tour was perfectly organised, in a fairly short time you can see a very large number of sights. It was a surprise to me that this was actually an individual tour. For that price, this format is miracle, at the same time, all the guides are russian speaking, which was also pleasent.

I went for a trip alone with Abhinav (seven wonder tours) and it was amazing. In few days I visited so many beautiful places in so different cities. I took a lot of beautiful pictures and souvenirs for my family. So far it was the best tour of my life. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.

I did the India and Sri Lanka combo experience and honestly had the best time in both. As my first time going away anywhere on my own it was so reassuring having intro do all the hard work, organising, planning, getting from place to place for me. In India my group leaders were Yoni and Mikes, both two absolutely beautiful human beings. It was so beautiful to see how they interacted with the locals which encouraged us and showed how we could also interact with them positively and respectfully. In Sri Lanka my group leader was Matt, who also was amazing. He was so knowledgeable on the incredible country Sri Lanka is and really helped us appreciate its beauty on a deeper level. All three of the group leaders gave a great sense of security to me allowing me to feel safe in both countries and able to relax and really appreciate and enjoy them for what they are.

I came back from the Fascinating India tour utterly amazed, and pleasantly surprised by how seamless it felt. Jaipur’s palette of pink-hued palaces, Pushkar’s sacred lake ceremonies, shimmering Udaipur lakeside, intense spiritual energy in Varanasi’s Ghats, and the intricate Khajuraho carvings—each highlight was unique What struck me was the blend of local experiences and smooth logistics: AC transport, domestic flights, pre-arranged hotels and guided reveals of India’s spiritual heart made it feel like a luxury cultural immersion without feeling stiff. Guides shared extra context and took genuine interest in our reflections—not robotic commentary. By Day 10, I found myself savoring the beat: walk, listen, reflect. If you’re looking for a deep but comfortable first dive into India’s soul, this is it.
