The sheer number of cultural, religious and historic sites on offer with tours in India can be a little overwhelming. So, take a step back and resist the temptation to do too much too soon, but be sure above all, not to miss the glories of the Golden Triangle: Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur.

An excellent trip to North India exploring Delhi, Rajasthan, Jaipur and Agra. A small group, full on schedule and an amazing Explore guide helped to make it a very memorable, once in a lifetime trip. I would highly recommend it.

India was incredible

What a brilliant couple of weeks we had in India. Everything was taken care of without worry, feeling safe and free to take in all the trip had to offer. It was very full on with little time for rest. Our full recommendation to anyone looking to cover lots of Rajasthan and the Pushkar fest.

This tour took us by surprise. We were hesitant of choosing India but this trip was amazing. The itinerary is jammed packed every day with something different. I will warn you this itinerary has ALOT of walking and you will sometimes be in chaos you could not even imagine. This trip is definitely an adventure of a lifetime.

This trip was truly amazing. The itinerary was full on and fast paced. This was needed as we covered so much ground. The places we visited were incredible and got progressively better as the trip went on. The hotels were of a good standard, the heritage hotels were beautiful and gave us a taste of their past glory. The food we ate was delicious. Lots of choice and great for vegetarians. It wasn’t too spicy and I had no ‘Delhi belly’. I loved how we also learnt about Indian history and culture on this trip. Pushkar was fun and interesting. Our guide Satish Dhar was great. This holiday was one of my favourites. Advice for other travellers thinking about this trip: there a fair amount of walking, 9000-15,000 steps most days. This wasn’t an issue for me, however, it maybe for those who are not as active. When Explore say this is a full on trip they really mean it. Please make sure you are physically up to it.

The tour gave a good insight into India. It covered many interesting and outstanding sights. The hotels were superb especially the former palaces. The tour was well managed by the leader who was a great source of information. Overall it would be hard to beat this tour.

Great trip

Wonderful trip through a unique part of India. As usual with Exodus we had a great group of like minded travelers and a variety of things to see and experience. There was a good mix of urban and nature. Cochin would have been a lot better if the hotel was in Fort Cochin. Too much time was spend driving back and forth.
