Jaipur Tours and Holidays

Booking process was simple online. Response was very quick. I was happy with the small group size. The Tour Leader was excellent. The hotels were good, although not close to the centre or any interesting areas. The itinerary was well chosen, and wasn't too frantic.

I especially loved the accommodation in Jaipur which was like staying at the Exotic Marigold - it was a dream come true in its decor, lovely staff and my room was resplendent with stained glass windows and even an internal room with a writing desk . I must write a novel about OUR trip !!!

We had an absolutely fantastic time. Thank you so much to Raj and the team. The whole trip was extremely well organised. Raj gave us a fantastic Indian experience. He has a wealth of knowledge and puts the clients needs first. We were very grateful for all his efforts. It is a full on tour so a level of stamina is required to get the most out of it. As well as the obvious highlights of the Taj Mahal, palaces and forts, it’s the extras that make the trip- a visit to a step well, dressing in Indian costumes, well picked restaurants by Raj and a visit to Raj Mandir in Jaipur to watch a Bollywood movie! It was an incredible rewarding trip. Raj handled any difficulties well. He is a lovely man! We were slightly apprehensive before travelling about how the group dynamic would work but we were lucky and thoroughly enjoyed everyone’s company. There were 13 like-minded people in our group ranging in ages from 20- late 60s but age didn’t matter. We would thoroughly recommend this trip and Explore!

This trip was full on but excellently guided by Veeru. His extensive knowledge, passionate enthusiasm and organisational skills ensured we could get the very best from this busy tour of these 3 magnificent cities. For me visiting the spectacular forts, palaces, temples and memorials has opened a window on the depth and complexity of India's rich history - I am left with a thirst for more research. Thank you Veeru for looking after us so well and making this another fabulous Explore experience. The friendly group of 12 who got on so well further enhanced this wonderful short holiday.

Was a jam packed tour which managed to fit in so many highlights. India is a country full of contrasts which didn’t disappoint. Particular highlights were the Taj Mahal and Fatephur Sikri. What made it extra special was our tour leader Veeru, who really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed, including a range of dietary needs a number of our group had. He worked tirelessly to make our visit!
