This is your chance to pick up some last-minute bargains in the busy gypsy market in Quarteira before we head to nearby Vilamoura to enjoy some free time at the largest private marina in Europe. It is one of the most visited in the world, neatly surrounded by shops, cafés and bars.
This day after breakfast, you will visit Faro, the Algarve’s capital, with a walking tour of its elegant Old Town. Amble around the charming cobblestone streets and see the Arc da Vila, a monument that was commissioned to mark the entrance to the Old Town after a devastating earthquake in 1755. You can take a Boat to discover the Ria Formosa Natural Park (Not Included). After exploring Faro by land and sea, enjoy some free time to sightsee independently or shop for souvenirs to take home and to have lunch. Return transfer to the hotel.

If you only have time for one tour, then this one has it all. In Silves, the former Moorish capital, you can visit the oldest part of the city where the largest castle in the Algarve and the oldest Cathedral are located. Climb the Serra de Monchique to Fóia, visiting the highest point of the Algarve, with time for spectacular photos. On your way down, we will make a stop for lunch (not included in the tour price). In the afternoon we will visit Lagos, where sightseeing includes the former slave market dating back to the 16th century, the golden church of Santo António, the fortress and the old town. The tour continues to Cape St. Vicente, the most south-western point of Europe, once known as "the End of the World". Landmarks include the great lighthouse, the great fishing port of Baleeira, and the fortress of Sagres, formerly home to School of Navigation founded by Infante D. Henrique, better known in English as Prince Henry the Navigator.

We start with a visit to Faro, the capital of the province of Algarve and a tour of 13th century city centre. We proceed to the originally Moorish city of Olhão, an important fishing town, and its well-known local market. We continue to the historic town of Tavira, with its Roman bridge, typical cobbled streets, its many churches (entrance fee not included). You will have the chance to visit the old castle, which has a high observation point ideally suited to taking in the best views of the city and taking fantastic pictures. Free time for lunch (not included). The tour’s last stop is a visit to the fabulous village of Cacela Velha where the Ria Formosa meets the Atlantic Ocean.

Visit to the historic city of Seville, capital of the Andalusian Region, dazzled by the greatness of its monuments. The arrival is an unforgettable moment overlooking the oldest Triana bridge in Seville. There will be free time to visit the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, the Royal Alcazar Palace, and the magnificent Maria Luisa Park, next to which another must-see, the great Plaza de España. You can also shop in the city or in the legendary district of Judiaria de Santa Cruz. When leaving Seville you will also have the chance to drive by and admire the pavilions of the 1st Ibero-American exhibition of 1929.
Today after breakfast, you will visit Lagos, a historic Portuguese town that is situated on the western edge of the Algarve. The town is surrounded by some of the most beautiful coastline sceneries found in Portugal, and these stunning beaches have transformed Lagos into one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Algarve. Arrival in Lagos and sightseeing of the town and historic center. All the sights of the old town are close together, so Lagos can be easily explored on foot in just 2-3 hours. Later on, we will head to Ponta da Piedade for a brief stop, where you can enjoy a boat tour (not included) to see the cliffs from the shoreline and Ponta da Piedade Lighthouse, making it a perfect addition to your Romantic Portugal vacation.

You can also visit the market for fresh and traditional products and enjoy the peaceful Algarvian countryside. We continue along the mountain range and visit the typical villages of Querença, Salir (archaeological museum) and Barranco do Velho (distillery). This will be followed by a visit to the beautiful village of Alte, considered the most picturesque village in the Algarve Time to enjoy a lovely meal (not included) and to experience a place full of charm and tradition.
