It's the kind of local travel experience you don't encounter every day (you're welcome). The day is still unfolding and weve already done so much! After arriving in Siena therell be time to explore what is possibly Italys most beautiful medieval city. The historic centre has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site and its heart is the Piazza del Campo, the sweeping central square that hosts the world-famous Palio horse race. This was my first Contiki and it was so much fun! We got to see so many places you likely wouldn't get to see if you were trying to get around Tuscany on your own. Note there is nowhere to go out at night by the Hotel, so I wouldn't recommend to people wanting that.

The trip was amazing- relaxing while still seeing plenty! It was a good balance of culture/cute towns & wine tasting. Also, don't skip out on the leather belt making in Florence, Ihad a blast doing that! Our trip manager was absolutely amazing & we also had the best dressed coach driver in all of Italy . It was also nice to stay in one hotel for the majority of the trip. It made it so that we could really 'unpack' & really soak in the Tuscan lifestyle.
