Excellent Travel Director and Driver. The guests were on time and it made the trip pleasant. the hotel rooms were fine. The food could have been better. I didn't like the breakfast and some of the dinners were not to my liking. Overall it was a good trip and we learned a lot about France and its people.

Emile is very knowledgeable and has great sense of humour, he didn't his best to let us see as much as possible. And he always played the most appropriate music, for example played "The top of the world " while the bus was riding on the Alps.

I have to tell you that I had a wonderful time. Meet some really nice friendly people that I'm face book friends now. The places that are on the itinerary were areas that I would have seen if I wasn't on this trip. *********** our Travel Director was very knowledgeable about the areas that we were about to see. Told little things to look out for and gave us ideas why the area is so popular and why we were front of the line, didn't have to wait. I have to admit I am a little hired, but my head is still spinning, I don't know if it is jet leg or real things so new and exciting to see. Love the movie about young girl in Lourdes, that helpful to understand, was highlight. Everything was planned to the tee. I am a person who love organization {ducks in a row} and David is that type of person. The dinners were very fancy places, food was great, I am going on a diet of not eating any more croissants for a while. When in France do what the French do-eat and drink really great red wine and chesses, can't forget about the chesses. I have travel with Trafalgar before to Greece and Scotland and now I can add France. The people that were on the trip have also been traveling with the Trafalgar company before. {Some were doing two trips at a time}. Goes to show your company's hard work is paying off. Looking for my next adventure to Italy. Thank you Be safe Sandra Douglas

It showed the very best of the beautiful city and countryside and all that France has to offer. WOW I had to keep pinching myself to realise my dream was coming true. I had experiences I never thought possible, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Moulin Rouge, Monte Carlo, the French Riviera and sleeping in a beautiful French Chateau, just to name a few. Our tour director Marie and driver Nico were just the best combination to provide us with so much fun, laughter and 100% enjoyment. OOh La La c'etait magnifique!!!

It was a jam packed itinery for 12 days - but we got to see SO much. We saw so much more than we ever could have imagined and been able to achieve on our own. Though our time in each location was brief, we were always able to see the main attractions, try some local food and take in the culture and ambience of the cities we visited.

For the money I paid, it was very good value. I even think that I got so much inclusion. Plenty of activities that were included that I did not expect. Some hotels are not the best but not the worse either. But there are some really good hotels that we stayed too. Part of the excitement is to guess and imagine the next hotel we are going to. All breakfast included and I noticed that most first night stay in every hotel there were dinner included as well. There were plenty of cruise activities as well, I lost count to be honest.

Top Cultural, Religious and Historic Sites in France

  • Constructed for the World’s Fair of 1889 and only ever intended to remain standing for a year, the Eiffel Tower is an iconic Paris attraction and still the tallest structure in the French capital.
  • Situated on the outskirts of the capital, the Palace of Versailles was the main residence of the French kings until the revolution in 1789. Its mix of exquisite gardens and sumptuous interiors make it one of the most popular sites to visit on a tour in France.
  • Sitting just by its ferry port, Marseille’s cathedral is a gothic splendor first built in the twelfth century and substantially rebuilt in the 1850s. Its black and white exterior acts as a wonderful contrast to the bright blue skies of summer.
  • While St Tropez may be best known for its beautifully tanned and très chic residents, this Provencal town has a wonderful seventeenth-century citadel fortress containing a maritime museum that offers some of the best vistas in the south of France.
