The whole trip was well organised and had a good balance between cycling and visits to local places. Our guide Erwin was excellent and adapted the programme to accommodate the unusual heatwave in France during our trip. Accommodation and food was good and I would recommend this trip.

My week-long cycling trip through the Loire Valley, France, was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The region is a cyclist's paradise, with beautifully maintained cycling paths winding through picturesque villages, rolling vineyards, sunflower fields, and the stunning banks of the Loire River. Each day brought a new highlight—magnificent châteaux, charming cafés, bustling local markets, and delicious French cuisine. Cycling at a leisurely pace allowed us to truly appreciate the beauty and tranquillity of the countryside, while the routes were well-signposted and suitable for riders of varying abilities. The accommodation throughout the trip was comfortable and welcoming, and the From exploring the grandeur of the Château de Chambord to enjoying wine tastings in quaint villages, every moment felt special. This cycling holiday exceeded all expectations and left us with wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for this beautiful part of France. A great week of relatively easy cycling, mix of roads and the Loire à velo cycle track. Visited several Chateaux, my favourites were Chenonceau and Cheverny. The Clos Luce, home of Leonardo da Vinci at Amboise is well worth a visit. We were a fairly international group, who all got along well. The tour leader, Erwin, worked tirelessly to ensure we all had a good time. The bikes were all more or less new this year Highlights included a wine tasting and light lunch at a small picturesque vineyard at Montlouis, more wine tasting at Cheverny from a selection of about 70 wines. The gardens of Chateau Villandry. And the sun shone all week!

It was very interesting seeing all the different architecture. The cathedrals were beautiful. Sitting in Montmartre at an outdoor cafe having pizza and listening to a young man sing in the rain while other tourists danced and sang with him took it over the top.

This tour was like a buffet. A little bit of a lot! Our Tour Director was so knowledgeable that we learned and saw a lot. The cog train optional experience in Luzern was unparalleled!

It was a fun experience. This was our second trip to France but our first to Spain. Our TD did a great job bringing us all together on the coach which enhanced the enjoyment of the trip. He wanted to be sure he knew about each of us and what we expected from the trip.
