France 15-Day Tours and Trips

We had a good time.If you are elderly,take some hyper comfortable shoes for a lot of walking.Good mobility is important.The tour is fast -paced,but there are breaks and some things-optional trips- you may want to skip.

The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful in Chamonix on the French Alps / Swiss Alps border and on the road to Nice. Such high mountains in the French Alps and beautiful green meadows. Our tour guide kept us informed with just the right amount of information about the next location we’d visit. Our driver kept us safe.

The most amazing experience! and really made the tour what it was, and that was a great success. They had the perfect mix of professionalism, knowledge, and socialisation which elevated the entire experience.

It is important to know that this experience is fast paced and sometimes it's a few hours in a country and then off on the bus to travel to the next destination. There is a fair amount of bus travel. This is a taster to what is out there. You will be able to say you have been to all these amazing places and have a goal to spend more time there next time. There are extra costs along the way to pay for optional experiences. It's good to be aware of all of this in advance so that you can have the best holiday possible and be prepared. The tour guides are fantastic and go above and beyond to give you a memorable holiday experience. In my opinion, take a few days before the tour to prepare, and a few days after to rest and do a it more travelling. Finally, be prepared to make some life long friends with those on tour as you will be spending hours and days together. Embrace every opportunity to experience something different, enjoy the differences, soak it all up; languages, cultures, food, music, currency.....you will never be the same, you will be enriched!

Generally, the itinerary was acceptable despite the very hectic schedule and short span of time. What we realized later is that we could have added few more days at some major cities so we could have explored more and see more of the sights. As it is, we hardly had time to enjoy these beautiful places like Paris, Lyon, Zurich, Lucerne, Lugano, Rome, Florence, enice, Salzburg Vienna. Such a waste we didnt see more of these places. We had a total of 5 Europmundo tour guides some local guides. Of the 5 Europamundo tour guides, our group of 4: Daphne Beverly Yu, Abigail Joy Ho-Ong I, Mary Jocelyn Ho, commend applaud Guide John. He gave us the most comprehensive helpful information about each place we visited. Next is Sofia. Very pleasing personality, charming helpful too. Our last 2 guides were Mustafa Jose. Mustafa doesnt say much, most of the time just telling us to sleep rest, instead of sharing some info history about each place or the important structures we pass by. Personally, i do believe vacation time is also learning time. We want to know about the history, culture, of each city. The guides are supposed to share these facts. The last guide Jose was with us only for 2 days. I only have this to say about Jose: he speaks English well.

I had not trekked in this area of Europe before but found the experience really wonderful. I took several hundred photos many of them of wild flowers which were the subject of an illustrated Powerpoint talk locally. Apart from that the scenery was very varied and each day was different. I enjoyed the climb each day.
