France Tours for Experienced Travelers

This cycle tour covered a small area of Provence. Delightful scenery, a couple of challenging hills, but doable for most cyclists. Loved the variety of nature, Roman archaeology. I highly recommend this tour

Our leader was Pablo Garcia. He was very knowledgeable, skilled and had lots of patience, excellent and timely information and always made sure our needs were met. Some of the accommodation was basic, but that was okay. Breakfasts were very varied and tasty with plenty of choices. We had a great group of cyclists and Pablo kept the team spirit going. The recommendations for meals were great and we had a lot of local food/ specialty options, which was great. The itinerary was good, riding through beautiful and vast landscapes with wild life such as flamingos and white horses, small medieval villages and beautiful canals, we would have expected and liked some more roads along the beautiful coast. There was a lot of riding through flat landscape with orchards and agriculture. The equipment was good, but some of the bikes had some gear and shifting issues. The support van driver Louis, made awesome picnic lunches with fresh local foods. All in all a great trip!

Excellent Travel Director and Driver. The guests were on time and it made the trip pleasant. the hotel rooms were fine. The food could have been better. I didn't like the breakfast and some of the dinners were not to my liking. Overall it was a good trip and we learned a lot about France and its people.

We chose to purchase all of the optional excursions which made for a very full itinerary. Our tour guide (Cindy) was excellent as was our coach driver(Allan). The hotel was fine and great that we were at the same hotel for the entire stay and did not have to pack up each day. 51 people was a lot but Cindy was very good at keeping us organized.The pick up at the airport was not very clear and unfortunately I was unable to hook up with Cindy’s “what’s up “ app. I am not very techy. It was a lot of walking for this old girl but I did it. The not very techy does not allow me to send a picture

Emile is very knowledgeable and has great sense of humour, he didn't his best to let us see as much as possible. And he always played the most appropriate music, for example played "The top of the world " while the bus was riding on the Alps.

This was a very well planned and thought out tour. Our guide (Connie) was engaging and helpful throughout the trip. She prepared in-depth information and graphics to describe each stop in detail. Free time at some stops allowed for individual exploration, before teaming up for group activities. The food and accommodation provided was above expectation. Also, the bus was comfortable and the driver very professional. Overall, it was a fantastic small group tour and I would highly recommend it.
