Reviews of our France Tours for Senior Citizens

Our senior travelers love their France journeys — here's what they say.

Sandra M. | Traveled in November

The itinerary was great we had a touch of Europe from London, Paris, Lucerne, Florence, Rome, Venice, Innsbruck, Munich, Amsterdam. Fabulous, planned excursions in each country we stopped at with a guide who knew his way around. And even the tiniest details were thought of.

European Cavalcade offered great value for money. The itinerary included unique sites and optional experiences that made the tour so memorable for us. Lucerne and St Paul de Vence were our favorites.

This was an amazing tour . Our guide , Eva, was fantastic! A delightful young lady with a good knowledge of French history. We were fortunate to have an excellent driver in Kasper. The itinerary was fabulous allowing us to enjoy different regions of France. Autumn was spectacular as we travelled south. A special treat was Eva’s picnic lunch. After visiting a small local market, we drove to a beautiful area to enjoy our bread , cheese & wine amidst the brillent colours. Yes, we saw the mountains in their glory & enjoyed the wine & the food. Definitely one of the most enjoyable Back Roads tours I have done.

The Blue Rds. Tour, Jewels of Southwest France was wonderful.. loved the small group and out of the way places. Albert was a great guide and lots of free time. Hotels were great and very central. Highly recommend

I said this previously... excellent hotels, except the one in Paris, which was not very welcoming and way too small,; outstanding tour, guide, and our driver… Outstanding excursions and wonderful side trips, and special experiences…

Robin M. | Traveled in November

We had such a lovely trip that exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Valeria, was fabulous, always engaged with the clients and focused on making our trip extra special. We won’t forget the beauty of the French countryside, the provincial architecture as well as the people we met. Special memories for sure!

Recommended activities and destinations for seniors in France

From charming villages to world-class museums, France offers countless ways for seniors to explore its rich heritage without breaking a sweat. Paris, with its iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum, provides accessible experiences, including Seine River cruises that offer scenic views without extensive walking. The Loire Valley is renowned for its majestic chateaux and picturesque vineyards, ideal for leisurely tours and wine tastings. The French Riviera boasts charming coastal towns such as Nice and Cannes, where seniors can enjoy pleasant strolls along promendaes and relax on Mediterranean beaches. While historic sites like Mont Saint-Michel are must-see attractions, they involve considerable walking on uneven terrain and numerous stairs.
