Eco Tours To France

Very busy but saw most of the country. Would have liked more time in some places but understood agenda. We had a great Tour Director in Stephane. He was very knowledgeable about all areas and tried to accommodate requests when possible. Plus our driver, Solo was also extraordinary, always p look peasant and very skilled. We always felt safe with these 2.

How does one pick a favorite, the whole experience was great, even getting stuck in the rain. Paris is prettiest when it rains. Most memorable dinner in the Eiffel Tower, and the dinner cruise on the Seine River. The announcement of this tour was presented by Denise H. and Ben S., their warmth and charm was very inviting, and I am truly glad to have made the trip.

Great trip for the price Great tour director and driver. Accommodations were wonderful and meals were excellent. Our tour group was very friendly. Tour director was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Driver was also very friendly and personable and a very good driver. What we saw on tour was well planned and organized.

It was a fun experience. This was our second trip to France but our first to Spain. Our TD did a great job bringing us all together on the coach which enhanced the enjoyment of the trip. He wanted to be sure he knew about each of us and what we expected from the trip.

I've now been on five Expat Explore trips and I have to say Ricardo was the most amazing guide yet! His knowledge of history and his willingness to share it with us in such an eloquent way, not monotone or in a a boring fashion as some guides, just the opposite, you wouldn't want him to stop talking! I learned so much from him about the culture of the places we were visiting! Not to mention his skills at making sure everyone was informed of the next days activities, his patience, and his ability to make everyone comfortable, especially on some long drive days! I can only hope I get Ricardo on another Expat trip!

The Collette London Paris Tours is great. We learned a lot about the area and culture in both cities. The hotels were comfortable and clean. The Tour Manager was extremely knowledgeable, professional but warm, funny and entertaining. We liked the morning tours around the area and then the free time in the afternoon or/and evenings. The excursion to Kensington Palace was fantastic. We really enjoyed the high tea there. The tour guide Urban helped our train ride to Paris go seamlessly. A special moment was when he sang and played the piano in the St. Pancras train station. The excursion to Versailles was outstanding. The local guide gave us great insight into the history but also made it fun. The included dinners were great in each city giving us a taste of the local fare. We highly recommend this tour. Well worth the value.
