Tour was perfect for my husband and I. We enjoyed the sites and also that were had free time in each city! Most memorable moment was dinner in the Eiffel Tower.

We were very happy with this tour. Stephanie was our fabulous guide. Honfleur, Dinan and Chinon were wonderful places to visit, and mostly off the main tourist sites. The accommodation in all the stays was exceptional…and the breakfast each morning was excellent The pace is not too hectic…there’s plenty of down time to enjoy everything.

We loved the bike/barge trip. The countryside in the south of France was beautiful. The crew and guide - Hugo were very helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The cabins are not big (an understatement) but they were sufficient as you are actually out all day. The food was better than we expected. My suggestions to make it better: The cycling on the first day around Avignon is too long, on the first day it could be 2 hours shorter. The ride through the Camargue to meet the boat further down river was unnecessary. We could have stayed on the boat and had a bit more of a relax after a 65km ride the day before. We dont agree with the gratuity at the end of the trip. Why is an additional payment required for them doing their job (dont get me wrong , i thought all the crew were brilliant, i just dont agree with gratuities)

Maybe one less night in the loire valley and increase Paris by one night. There’s just so much history there. Omaha Beach region and its museums Had a fair amount of difficulty understanding our street guide in Tours. She had a very strong accent to a point where earbuds weren’t helpful. Just the right amount of free time especially in St Malo. Our guide, JP was exceptional!
