It was an excellent itinerary with the exception of the Monaco stop during the Grand Prix week. We couldn’t really see anything due to roads being closed. The trip director was excellent though doing everything he could to get us to see what he could.

4.0 | Very Good
It was very busy, very active with long days. We were made aware of this so this isn’t a complaint, simply a fact.
The bus ride from Paris to the South of France was quite a long day.
The local specialists were fantastic. Very knowledgeable, friendly and often quite funny.
The locations chosen were beautiful.

2.0 | Poor
Poorly planned itinerary. Hotels were far from the town centers. Too many parts of the trip are optional and should be included. Many times if an optional tour was not purchased, there was nothing planned for that day. Optional tours were of poor quality. Trafalgar asked we tip drivers, and local tour leaders. Very difficult to have cash, when most of Europe is cashless. Tips should be included in the base price.

There was a lot of driving time. When we finally did arrive somewhere, we were given 45 minutes to an hour for free time - which was basically nothing. We drove 2 hours to take a boat to St. Tropez and had an hour of free time….it would’ve been nice to spend several hours or the night. Same for Montmartre excursion…disappointing. The hotels were too far from main parts of town and had to take Ubers to and from attractions. However, our guide was amazing. She was organized, helpful, knowledgeable and just did a really great job.
