We found wonders waiting around every corner. I am so happy I got to share this with my family
Perfect 10 days in Italy and we were saw everything in our bucket list. Would have loved an extra time in Florence. Didnt get enough of just Florence.
As any American tourist, we have a specific image of what Hotel should be like. Well... Italian hotels are not the same unless you want to pay arm & a leg for it. Rooms are very tiny, showers are small, TV's have 10 channels all in Italian, and conditioners are not working to our standards. However, I can live with it for 9 days, if I want to explore Italy. If this is not for you, then choose a different tour company, that cost 3 times as Costsaver tours. I understood one thing: I am taking a lot for granted by living in USA and now I appreciate much more what I have at home. It's soooo much to see in Italy! Loved it!
Loved the people, liked the trip but would caution against too many cities in too short a time. I would choose less cities and more time at each. I would also like to have the option to upgrade hotel rooms if accommodations don't meet standards we are used to. Just a suggestion. Also option of have porter picking up luggage and having it brought to the room should be made available. I'm a senior and would have paid extra for that service as it is hard for me with the heaviness of the luggage and backpacks. That option wasn't presented. I think it should be, at least as an option if people want to pay for it. I would have. It's a suggestion. I would also have paid for an upgrade of some of the rooms due to conditions I was not used to. I would have paid extra for that too.
Hotels were definitely not 4 stars to my standards. The air conditioner would not work and they didn’t offer any fans. Last minute we were put in different hotels that were not in my itinerary!! I wish we were able to choose the foods we could have for dinner or at least give us choices.
