Honest insights from past guests on our India tours

I had India on my list for a while and kept finding reasons to delay it. I am now very happy I finally got myself there. I can home with very good memories - Indu (tour guide) took good care of us and worked hard to make sure we were safe, well fed and experienced the best, navigating around traffic and fog. I am definitely going back to see other parts of the country!

It was my first trip to India and it gave a great down to earth feel of what India is all about, chaotic traffic but safe even on a bike, with the guidance of the tour leader. The people who were extremely welcoming and helpful all of the time with no pushy sales techniques.

Our leader Sam was very efficient, knowledgeable kind and totally first class I did feel that the advertising of the trip was misleading as leisurely the trip was not ! Sam guided and encouraged us all and the mechanics, drivers plus second leader first class also. Unfortunately I had a very bad accident. Sam was so kind and helpful

We have just returned from a great family holiday in India. Our Explore tour leader, Virender (Veeru) Singh was excellent. His depth of knowledge was outstanding and his unwavering enthusiasm really made our holiday. He was good company at meal times and always keen to know what he could do to make our trip even better. There were some lengthy bus trips to get to our destinations and he pointed out interesting things along the way to keep us engaged and entertained. He was really good with our twins too who sometimes got a bit tired and was very accommodating and helpful with whatever they needed to enjoy the trip. He took us to places we wouldn't have found on our own and every step of the way the organisation of our transport, tickets and luggage was seamless. Our driver was also excellent on what was sometimes challenging driving driving conditions and long distances.

What a wonderful guide in Raj, who made my holiday the best ever, when I was in India . He went above & beyond & nothing was ever a problem . Explore was very fortunate in appointing such a gifted guide. He helped people in every way possible & one was ever made feel their concern was a major issue . Kind, attention to detail & also introduced a great sense of fun . I would have one suggestion, on our last day / meal a place where we can all chat & dine around a large table & thank our wonderful guide . The final gathering had loud music and so it difficult to relay our appreciation to Raj . Shall be recommending India to pals & hugely thanks to Raj
