France Mountains Trips

The itinerary is great but too many of the experiences were ‘optional extras’ making it a very expensive tour. Also some options were missed due to them being booked out - changed from the original info we received and because the tour guide didn’t book ahead knowing it was peak season etc. Disappointing.

The most amazing experience! and really made the tour what it was, and that was a great success. They had the perfect mix of professionalism, knowledge, and socialisation which elevated the entire experience.

There are a number of problems if you don't have a cellphone that works internationally, especially if your tour director sends all his/her instructions through apps. Even for your seating assignment you have to have cellphone connection. Both my tour directors were excellent in their historical knowledge and in the smooth running of the tour.

Just loved this tour that took us away from the cities to vthe villages, towns churches, castles and the country beauty of France. And a good pace with not obscene (lol) "bags out" times. The included dinners were delicious except for the last in Paris.. I could haveveasily hopped on the coach and enjoyed the journey again.

Loved the small cities we visited. There was so much to see and learn about. The optional tours were great. I often wished for more time in the towns, but who wouldn’t. Sarlat was beautiful and Albi too.

When you try to work out individual costs to do this on your own and the fact you do t know where to start or best recommend places to visit, you run the risk of over spending, stress of it or going to plan and whether you will see or do enough. The intinerary provided covers most essential and must see places in the best possible time available. Gives you an idea of what you might want to see again, so more of and places to stay longer at. All round well blanched schedule to experience.
