Phu Quoc Island: North and South Full-Day Tour

Phu Quoc is a spectacular beach destination, but there is much more to the island than the coastline. On this guided day tour, explore the north as well as the south of the island. Relax at the Bai Sao beach and Vung Bau beach while getting to know the specialities of the island: pearls, local wines and world-renowned fish sauce, with factory visits. You’ll also explore the island’s thick forests and visit its many landmarks such as the Ho Quoc pagoda and the Coconut Tree Prison. After being picked up at your hotel, head south to visit a pearl farm to learn about the cultured pearl industry. Then get an understanding of the winemaking process at Sim Wine factory and taste locally made wines. Afterwards visit a pepper farm and learn about pepper harvesting before heading to the lovely Ham Ninh fishing village to check out the Ho Quoc pagoda while observing in the local lifestyle. In the afternoon, drive to Bai Sao beach to swim, relax and enjoy lunch. We visit the infamous Coconut Tree Prison to learn about the brutal history of Vietnam. Also, take a short walk to a fish sauce factory. Depending on the season, we’ll wrap your visit to the south side of the island with at the scenic Tranh stream. Later in the day, drive north to see the emerald forests of the Phu Quoc National Park and visit the island’s first environmentally conscious bee farm. Then head to the Ganh Dau vantage point to see panoramic views of Cambodia across the sea. We end the day at the splendid Vung Bau beach. You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Duong Dong at 9 am and dropped off at 5 pm.

Discover Co Loa Ancient Citadel By Bike

The tour guide will meet you at your hotel at 8.30 am, then you are ready to begin your adventure by pedaling from the hotel to the other side of the Red River. First, you will cycle along the Long Bien Bridge, which was built by the French in 1902 — the first steel bridge across the Red River. The bridge was designed by French architect Gustave Eiffel of Eiffel Tower fame. It was known as Paul Doumer Bridge, in honor of the Governor General of French Indochina, until North Vietnam's independence in 1954. This beloved Hanoi landmark offers stunning views across the Red River. Next, you will get on a local boat to cross the Duong River, a distributary of the Red River. You will then cycle through the peaceful countryside passing lots of green rice fields and visiting a local village where you meet hospitable people, most of them make their living on agriculture. Around noon, you will get to Co Loa Citadel, an ancient fortress in what was the first independent capital of the Vietnamese kingdom. Thanks to its historical and cultural value, this old bastion attracts a large number of foreign tourists every year. You will be surprised to find out that this Citadel was not only constructed in a large area, but also took such a long time to build. It will be an incredible chance for you to explore this huge site and its hidden beauty. The site has been the source of various relics from the Bronze Age. Then, you will have time for lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, you will pedal your way back to your hotel. The bike tour ends around 3:30 pm.

All services are arranged very exactly as they have confirmed. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is delicious. Some hotels are very central in the city. The guides have good knowledge. The seat on the bus is also very comfortable. All daily trip began at 8:00. At the end of the days, we made some small changes and they agreed to change without extra charge. Ms Ashley is amazing, she always supports us all the time even though she is very far from us. Thank you very much. We had an unforgettable vacation
