About Thanh

Thanh, that's my first name. Vietnam is my native country and I love sharing it with visitors. I have also always been interested in other cultures, people, and languages. When I was younger, I decided to learn French, and then after leaving university I worked as a travel consultant to share the diversity of cultures here with other travelers. I fell in love with my country by meeting the mountainous minorities of the north, walking the rice terraces, trekking through bamboo forests and jungles, visiting the floating market in the Mekong delta… the list goes on. The cultural, natural, and gastronomic riches of Vietnam as well as the authenticity of its inhabitants have charmed and captivated me. With my experience as a travel designer, and my knowledge and passion for Vietnam, which I have explored from south to north, I will be happy to advise you, to create a unique and unforgettable trip that suits you. Also, I love cooking and I’m always happy to share my passion for gastronomy!

I have been working at the same travel company for the past 11 years in Vietnam. I specialize in all manner of leisure travel and am an expert in all the sights and activities Vietnam has to offer. Once upon a time, I hiked through the country to discover authentic Vietnam and also to learn more about the ethnic minorities of the north. The trip formed the basis of my deep respect and love for my country and later helped me to be able to design 100% tailor-made trips according to the needs and budgets of our travelers.

Thanh's Best Travel Experience

Throughout my working and traveling experience, I traveled to some of the best destinations in Vietnam like Halong Bay, Sapa, Hue, Hoi An city, and the delta of Mekong. I still remember the cozy jazz cafes in Hanoi and the hikes in the mountains in the north of Vietnam. These travels enriched me as an outdoor traveler and also as a travel consultant.
