Hoi An is a small city on the Thu Bon River on Vietnam’s central coast. Once a historic trading port, the city is famous for its Old Quarter, the location of many historic merchant buildings as well as several interesting museums. A famous foodie hotspot, any Hoi An tour must include visits to restaurants or hotels where visitors can take cooking classes and learn to make the traditional dishes the area is famous for.

Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

Everything was smooth - hotels were clean and well-located, transportation was on time, and guide was professional and enthusiastic. I especially loved the overnight experience on cruise in Mekong Delta and Halong Bay. This tour was perfect for someone wants to explore but also have time to relax. Thanks Realistic Asia for making this so enjoyable!

Well-Organized and Authentic Vietnam Experience

Did a 10-day Vietnam tour and overall it was well-organized and enjoyable. In Hanoi, we visited a tea farm in Ba Vi — peaceful, with a great local host who shared stories from the war. The foot soak at the end was a nice touch. The Ha Long Bay cruise was scenic and relaxing, with good food and kayaking. Hoi An was my favorite stop — charming Old Town, fun basket boat ride, and some downtime to explore or get clothes tailored. Loved the lantern-lit streets at night. In Ho Chi Minh, we explored the Cu Chi Tunnels and took a busy but interesting day trip to the Mekong Delta. Accommodations were all decent 3-star hotels, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The team did a solid job. Good value for the price, and I’d travel with them again.

Beyond expectations

This tour really exceeded all my expectations. I didn’t know what to expect with 3 countries in just 10 days, but it was honestly amazing. The itinerary was fast-paced but never stressful, and we still had time to enjoy each place. Thanks to the team who always checked and made sure everything went well. I highly recommend this trip!

Unforgettable Days in Vietnam

This trip was honestly everything we hoped for and more. Every place we visited felt special in its own way, and the whole itinerary just flowed so smoothly. We got to see the famous sights, but also had moments that felt really personal—like sitting with Mr. Duoc in Ba Vi, hearing his stories from the war. It was something we’ll never forget. Mrs. Chin's cooking class in her garden kitchen was another favorite—she made us feel so welcome, and the food was amazing. We also found some great little restaurants along the way (shoutout to the grilled eggplant in Hoi An—wow). Thank you, Ellie, for planning everything so perfectly. You really took the stress out of it and helped make this such a memorable trip. We already miss Vietnam… and we’re already talking about coming back.
