Unforgettable Days in Vietnam

This trip was honestly everything we hoped for and more. Every place we visited felt special in its own way, and the whole itinerary just flowed so smoothly. We got to see the famous sights, but also had moments that felt really personal—like sitting with Mr. Duoc in Ba Vi, hearing his stories from the war. It was something we’ll never forget. Mrs. Chin's cooking class in her garden kitchen was another favorite—she made us feel so welcome, and the food was amazing. We also found some great little restaurants along the way (shoutout to the grilled eggplant in Hoi An—wow). Thank you, Ellie, for planning everything so perfectly. You really took the stress out of it and helped make this such a memorable trip. We already miss Vietnam… and we’re already talking about coming back.

A private journey into Vietnam’s soul

Traveling privately meant we could set our own pace and dive deeper into each destination. The heritage sites in Hue and Hoi An were breathtaking, and the personalized attention made us feel truly cared for.

Best trip ever taken

Our Vietnam tour was thoroughly enjoyable—the food was incredible, and the scenery absolutely stunning. What made the experience even more seamless was our tour manager, who responded promptly to every request and went above and beyond to ensure we reached each destination smoothly. Much appreciated.

Tessa Made It Effortless and Perfect!

I took the "Vietnam Essence Discovery – 7 Days" trip, and it was an amazing experience! First of all, I would like to thank Tessa, our tour manager. She was incredibly helpful and excellent, making my trip not only perfect but also suitable for my budget. Everything was perfectly organized and went smoothly. I can't describe in words how incredibly beautiful Vietnam is and how well the trip was planned. I didn’t have to worry about anything! I will definitely visit again and book my trip with Tessa and team. Thanks again, Tessa, for an unforgettable trip!

This trip changed how I see Vietnam

Wonderful vacation! Vietnam surprised me - it was so much different than what I had heard in the past. From north to south, it's a beautiful in it own way. I loved bavi eco tour, we had the chance to bike around the village, learn to make spring rolls. Hoi An is also a beautiful town with a unique culture. Its architecture gives off a "movie about the past" vibe, and the paddle boat trip was a lot of fun. Since my friend is passionate about history, Cuchi tour was her favorite, while the Mekong Delta tour was mine, i love the people there. I think Vietnam has a lot more to experience, I really looking forward to my next trip to Vietnam.

More than we expected

We thought six days might feel too short, but it was the perfect length to get a real taste of Vietnam. Loved the food tour in Hanoi and the magical night on the bay.

Discover Vietnam on Your Custom Trip

From the karst-studded seascapes of Ha Long Bay and the ancient ruins of My Son Sanctuary to the misty valleys of Sapa and the lively floating markets of the Mekong Delta, Vietnam is a country that constantly surprises. Add to that its mouthwatering cuisine, vibrant cities, and welcoming people, and it’s easy to see why Vietnam enchants everyone from backpackers to luxury travelers.

With a customized Vietnam tour, you can experience the country your way. Whether that means cruising through limestone islets, tasting street food in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, or cycling past rice paddies in Hoi An depends on your preference. Whatever that may be, our travel experts can craft a tailor-made Vietnam itinerary that fits perfectly with your style of travel. Contact our local experts today to start planning your bespoke Vietnam journey.

When to plan your bespoke Vietnam holiday

Because of its length and varied geography, Vietnam’s climate shifts dramatically from north to south. March and April are the best months to visit Vietnam, offering warm, dry, and pleasant weather across nearly the entire country, ideal for both city exploration and outdoor adventures. October to December is also a great time for the cooler north, especially around Hanoi, Sapa, and Ha Long Bay, while December to April brings dry, sunny conditions to the south, perfect for Phu Quoc and Mekong Delta trips.

By contrast, June to September can be uncomfortably hot and humid, with heavy rains and occasional typhoons affecting the north and central coast. May and June mark the start of the monsoon season in central Vietnam, making it less suitable for beach holidays. During winter (December to February), the central coast cools down — Da Nang and Nha Trang are less ideal — but Phu Quoc shines as the perfect beach escape. Access full breakdown of travel months in Vietnam.

To plan a custom trip, our travel experts recommend reaching out at least a week in advance. This is usually ample time to plan and organize the entire tour.

How many days is ideal for a customized Vietnam trip

The ideal duration for a customized Vietnam itinerary depends on how deeply you want to explore. In four to five days, you can experience highlights like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Ha Long Bay. With seven days in Vietnam, you can add destinations such as Sapa’s hill-tribe villages or the beaches of Phu Quoc.

For the most rewarding experience, we recommend ten days or more, giving you time to balance Vietnam’s must-sees with its hidden gems — like Ninh Binh’s limestone valleys, Hue’s imperial heritage, or the peaceful countryside of Mai Chau. This pace lets you dive deeper into local life without rushing from one city to another. Check out all our recommended durations for a Vietnam holiday.

Must-visit destinations on a tailored tour of Vietnam

Every region of Vietnam offers something unforgettable. Ha Long Bay remains a must-visit for its emerald waters and limestone karsts, while nearby Lan Ha Bay provides a quieter, equally stunning alternative. In Hoi An, stroll through lantern-lit streets and centuries-old merchant houses that tell stories of the Silk Road. Up north, Sapa beckons trekkers with its terraced rice fields and colorful ethnic markets.

Head south to unwind on Nha Trang’s golden beaches or to explore Phu Quoc Island, a paradise for snorkelers and sunset seekers. History enthusiasts can explore the Cu Chi Tunnels near Ho Chi Minh City or the ancient citadel of Hue, while nature lovers can kayak or hike through Ba Be National Park, one of Vietnam’s most serene escapes. Explore other destinations.

Budget for a customized Vietnam itinerary

Vietnam offers excellent value for money, even for bespoke experiences. Customized Vietnam tours typically start at around USD 100 (and even less) per person per day, covering accommodation, guided excursions, and local transport. There’s no planning or consultation fee when you plan your itinerary with us. You pay only when your itinerary is finalized and ready to book.
