Vietnam 16-Day Tours and Trips

This tour is one of the best Expat Tours I have ever been on and I have done a few. Our tour leader for Vietnam, Tuan, was informative, adapted the tour to fit the needs of our small group and went beyond his scope of duty to ensure that we had the best ever experience. Sytar, out tour leader for Cambodia shared his passion for his country in a very enthusiastic manner and also ensured that we had the best time ever. This tour should be on everyone's bucket list. Something to be experienced. Will definitely recommend this tour to friends and family.

Really fun trip overall. Good mix of people. Don't like the pressure of being taken to and then asked to buy items (stitched paintings, silver bowls etc) but I understand it's about part of giving back to the community. Unfortunetly a few of us became very unwell after going to a food place by the temple (snake soup and ants place) and have been vomiting and had ongoing diarrhoea for several days since. So would recommend being careful about road side places in future. CEO Ratha was great, communicated well, and an enjoyable experience overall, minus the broken stomachs towards the end.

This was an amazing trip, full of surprises. Lantern making, speed boat rides, cooking classes, all memorable experiences. Our TD in Vietnam, was excellent and I'm sure we will always remember him.

Excellent 16 day tour. Guide for the Vietnam part of the tour () was absolutely superb. He went the extra mile to ensure we had the best possible time. Expert guide at Angkor Way was also superb as was our Cambodia Tour Director.

We recently had a 15-day trip that included Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and Laos. This travel specialist did an excellent job in planning this trip. We were taken care of throughout our journey, and the guides provided excellent service. It was easy to find the drivers at the airports because were received a picture of the signboard with our names before the trip. It was a very smart decision. The hotels they booked for us were very comfortable with nice breakfasts. All guides helped us a lot during our journey. However, the local guide in Laos was not very good at English, it was a bit hard to understand, but he was the nicest. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with them.

This trip was made extraordinary by two absolutely outstanding guides, one in Cambodia (Sokchea) one in Vietnam (Truong). Their knowledge, communication skills, good humour, organisational skills and sheer passion for what they do was incredible. We arranged additional tours with our guides, and being able to depend on them for taking care of every detail, from supporting with transport arrangements, recommending and taking us to great local restaurants and evening shows, sometimes joining us for fun, ensuring that our access to sites of interest was smooth and hassle-free, whilst providing a fascinating and insightful perspective on history, culture and lifestyle. In Vietnam, Truong is an incredible asset to Explore: he went above and beyond his remit every day to ensure that everyone in our group had the best, most enjoyable experience. This was priceless, his energy and enthusiasm, and superb social skills ensured that this was an unforgettable trip of a lifetime. We learned so much, and genuinely shared laughter, food and good company. This Explore trip, due to the local guides, and wonderful company of our small group, totally exceeded our expectations. Having a small group of 5, meant that we were able to get to know each other along the way too, and shared a lot of fun. We hugely enjoyed our “Happy Team” and hope we’ve made some new friends too. Hotels were mostly great, some more basic but overall good, clean standards. Some excelled, like Cat Ba Paradise Hotel; only one was quite disappointing and a bit frustrating in their really inefficient check-in processes, Trang Hotel in Bangkok, which wasn’t helpful after long-haul journey. Otherwise, good accommodation and friendly helpful staff along the way.
