Vietnam Cruise Trips
Taking a cruise tour in Vietnam is an excellent way to explore the gentler side of the nation that is always on the move. Our Vietnam cruise tours feature destinations like Phú Quốc and Binh Ba and the iconic Ha Long Bay. In between the cruise, you can enjoy tons of activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving and island exploring. If you do not want to hit the open seas, cruising the Mekong River is one of the best alternatives. Along the river, you can visit the Long Xuyen Floating Markets, check out silk farms, and hear beautiful traditional Vietnamese music. Why not combine your cruise tour with a sightseeing tour in Vietnam, where you can check out the Thien Hau Temple and explore the bustling Ben Thanh Market? Vietnam Cruise Tour Reviews
Honest insights from past guests on our Cruise Vietnam tours
An amazing tour of North, Central and South Vietnam. We had an excellent tour leader, Tam, who introduced us to this wonderful country. Very comfortable hotels throughout the tour and a beautiful homestay in the Mekong Delta. Wonderful local food and drink - every meal was delicious esp the egg coffee! Multiple modes of transport throughout the tour (including rickshaw, ferry, cable car, sleeper train, various boats, and bicycles) and varied excursions (including the Water Puppet Theatre, Acrobat Show at Saigon Opera House and a foody tour on a Vintage Vespa) all added to the adventure. What a fantastic trip, thank you Explore and Tam!
We had a good trip . Our guide was attentive and sensitive to our needs adjusting the program to our needs. We even got an extra helping prepare and cook our evening meal at Ben Tre homestay An early visit the Cu Chi tunnels meant we missed the cross. Hoi An we found very crowded and touristy. We would suggest the guide advises people who want to see it empty to get out at 7 am before breakfast Our guide fat the Mekong delta was great fun and had excellent English. Sometimes it would have helped to be told some options for Ho Chi Minh City. We saw an excellent Vietnamese show there called AO at the opera house. All in all we much enjoyed our tour and would use Explore again and recommend it to others.
We had an excellent trip and really enjoyed all aspects of the trip. Both our leaders Joseph and Sitha were excellent. One suggestion would be not to have three consecutive days of temple sightseeing in Cambodia as this in our opinion and others on the trip, was too much, especially in the extreme heat. Maybe a trip to the Landmine museum which we passed on the temple visits. Cambodia has a great deal more to offer. We will be using you again next year, thank you.
We were an intimate group of 6 and we all LOVED the tour. Hoan was our great leader and we thought he was the best! Hoan always made sure we were taken care of as far as restaurants, free time, great options. We felt like family as Hoan shared about himself and real opinions, not generic statements. I recommend going for all the options offered, such as street food tour, village visit and cooking class. The cooking class was really fun! We opted for all the extras, including cyclo tour, water puppet show, Emperor’s Tombs. Don’t miss anything. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotels. The Mekong Delta home stay was a fabulous experience with great and plentiful food.
I have already provided feedback. It was all excellent and mostly thanks to our guide Hoan! A small group, a very good balance of activities and excellent suggestions for our spare time. Our guide was knowledgeable, approachable and very obliging! highly recommended trip!
Excellent tour leader, very knowledgeable and positive. Overall a fabulous trip. Very busy itinerary. Perhaps a little too packed and would benefit from paring back and allowing some down time. Excursions from cruise could be avoided as unnecessary and not particularly good. Better quality transport would be preferable. Hotel in phnom Penn a little basic and cramped.
