Vietnam Tours for Experienced Travelers

This was my first experience with Explore! I travelled with three other friends and we had a wonderful time. I would definitely consider another tour with Explore! in the future.

I had an amazing time on the trip. The hotels were really lovely and I made the best decision to upgrade. The trip exceeded my expectations. All the hotels had a pool, some having roof top infinity pools. The breakfast food was very comprehensive. The guide Huan was very knowledgable and sorted everything out for us. It was lovely to cycle in places that appeared to have very little tourism. In contrast the cities of Saigon, Hue and Hanoi were brilliant. The country of Vietnam is a lot more advanced than I thought it would be. An excellent 5 star trip of a life time.

We had a really great time on this trip and our guide was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the support staff. The hotels were also lovely. It’s quite a full on trip with early starts on most days to avoid the heat and activities also available for the non cycling days if you want to join in. The overnight train was not such a great experience for me and it seemed a rush after that to go on the boat trip but all other aspects of the trip seemed very well planned and thought through.

Our tour leader Hung was great at ensuring everyone was engaged with our itinerary and activities that were planned including additional activities he had arranged. There was a change to the expected itinerary and we did not stay in ha long bay but in ka ba island, the resort at ka ba has been so polite by recent developments and I we could have to preferred an overnight st as y on a boat to prior to o the cruise in la han bay, that being said la han bay was quieter and beautiful. The stay in the Mekong Delta was beyond words and probably made the trip for me overall. The only other minor criticism of the tour was that we did not spend enough time at the war remnants museum but we were able to return to the museum on the final day in our own time to see the rest of the exhibits. Overall an amazing experience and one I will cherish, thank you Hung for all of your hard work.

Fantastic experience! The tour itinerary was well thought out; fun, interesting and well timed. Accommodations were first rate. Van travel between cities was comfortable; the expert driver knew time-saving detours to avoid traffic delays. Our five-star tour leader shared his deep knowledge of Vietnam to our group in a delightful way. And when one cyclist incurred a minor skin scrape the leader patched her up like a professional EMT. Within two days of the start everyone in our seven person group felt like old friends. A wonderful time was had by all.

This was an excellent trip that exceeded my expectations. Our tour leader, Long, was excellent providing flawless organisation with an encyclopedic knowledge of Vietnam and Cambodia. The agenda made good use of the time to combine a wide variation of visits and activities. I was also fortunate to be with a great group of people which made the holiday more enjoyable still.
