Scotland is on most people’s travel bucket list and for a good reason. Honest insights from past guests on our Scotland tours

Great tour Terry the tour leader was fantastic as was the driver Sage A couple of the hotels were a bit isolated leaving you a little stranded if you wanted to venture out

Brilliant tour with brilliant people. I slipped on wet grass resulting in a trip to emergency with a broken wrist. The tour leader and bus driver went over and above and made sure that I was accompanied and expressed the utmost care.

A near perfect experience! The accommodations were varied and lovely. The breakfasts and dinners couldn't have been better. And the itinerary extremely well planned without our being too rushed while still being alloted adequate and appropriate amounts of time given the particular stop. Our guide, Giovanni, was very knowledgeable, energetic, personable, and took great care of his flock...even going so far as to make special lodging arrangements for a unique situation. I should also commend our guide for his sensitivity in not bringing any political or cultural bias into our time together. Thank you, Giovanni, and Ian, our driver, for bringing the Back Roads of Scotland to life for us! NOTE: Despite the fact that politics and religion are worthy topics, they need to be handled delicately and without derision...otherwise not mentioned at all. My appreciation to those fellow travelers who respect this.

The Collette Tour of Scotland and Northern Ireland was fantastic. The Tour Manager, Graham Hughes and Bus Driver David were outstanding. They were both extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour and also personable. Graham went above and beyond what he had to do by assisting us with dinner reservations and also making my birthday, which was the last day of the tour, a memorable one by going out of his way to get me a nice gift to remember the tour by. David the bus driver kept the atmosphere on the bus light and had everyone on the bus laughing during much of the bus travel. The daily tours during the trip were all well-organized and informative and the local tour guides were outstanding. They were all extremely knowledgeable and very funny which made the tours both interesting and fun. The hotels on the tour were comfortable and clean and they were all in great locations with the surrounding areas having easily accessible places to eat and shop. The bus which took us to all of the places that were visited was clean and comfortable and the bus driver David's driving skills were excellent considering the narrow roads and excessive roundabouts . I would absolutely recommend Collette Tours to friends and relatives and would definitely book another Tour with them if the itinerary was something that met me needs. I would absolutely request Graham Hughes for my next tour and David the bus driver.

Disappointed that the weather didn't cooperate to go to the Orkney Isles, but loved being at Ballachulish and Castletown away from the big cities. Wished lunch stops were longer for eating and shopping the towns. Could have stayed all day at Dunrobin Castle as I enjoyed touring on my own, but didn't have time to cover all of it.

Knowledgeable guide and great driver. All accomodation was great, everyone looked after us well. We had a few changes along the way but all added to the journey- definitely worth doing! 😁
