The local specialists added to the experience and really helped flesh-out the experience. The one thing I would have changed would be less time at Edinburgh Castle and add a walk through Old Town. The Royal Mile is nice but I would have liked more of the side streets and closes.

The small towns we were able to visit en route to the next destination were enjoyable but with only an hour on average to explore was a bit constraining. However I understand that timing is important as to keep on schedule. Our guide was very knowledgeable and things were never boring. Excellent driver as well, felt very safe.
