Good itinerary. Had a lovely trip! Knowledgeable tour director and expert Local Specialists. Connecting with Locals in a Be My Guest Experience is a nicely unique and enriching experience.

Our last night with dinner at the Craufurd castle was over the top. So enjoyed mingling with the Laird and Lady. The whole trip was amazing, but that was the icing on the cake.

The Collette Tour of Scotland and Northern Ireland was fantastic. The Tour Manager, Graham Hughes and Bus Driver David were outstanding. They were both extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour and also personable. Graham went above and beyond what he had to do by assisting us with dinner reservations and also making my birthday, which was the last day of the tour, a memorable one by going out of his way to get me a nice gift to remember the tour by. David the bus driver kept the atmosphere on the bus light and had everyone on the bus laughing during much of the bus travel. The daily tours during the trip were all well-organized and informative and the local tour guides were outstanding. They were all extremely knowledgeable and very funny which made the tours both interesting and fun. The hotels on the tour were comfortable and clean and they were all in great locations with the surrounding areas having easily accessible places to eat and shop. The bus which took us to all of the places that were visited was clean and comfortable and the bus driver David's driving skills were excellent considering the narrow roads and excessive roundabouts . I would absolutely recommend Collette Tours to friends and relatives and would definitely book another Tour with them if the itinerary was something that met me needs. I would absolutely request Graham Hughes for my next tour and David the bus driver.

Disappointed that the weather didn't cooperate to go to the Orkney Isles, but loved being at Ballachulish and Castletown away from the big cities. Wished lunch stops were longer for eating and shopping the towns. Could have stayed all day at Dunrobin Castle as I enjoyed touring on my own, but didn't have time to cover all of it.

My favorite experience was going to Orkney, seeing the Neolithic sites and feeling the wildness of the place… astonishing. Our guide was a wealth of information, helping us to really feel how hard existence was for these early inhabitants, as well as the more recent crofters. As a history buff, I loved all of the Jacobite sites and information.

We enjoyed everything about this trip. We were first-time travelers on an organized tour and found that we loved traveling with others. On that note, what stood out for me was the excellent itinerary, professionalism and organization of our tour manager, Ian, incredible skill of our bus drivers, and the quality of our local guides. It was a thoughtful, exciting itinerary that truly was one of discovery—no deep dives into any one place, but we know where we would like to spend more time if we’re able to return one day. Highlights: Glencoe, Orkney, Skye ( a week here would be fabulous), the sheepdog demonstration (Neil should have his own tv show), and our fellow discoverers, many of whom became friends. Though this was our first time with Collette we wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. Slainte!
