Great tour with great leader. Peru is a huge country with several different climes and geographical areas as well as multiple indigenous peoples and cultures. This trip manages to cover a great deal of these places and contrasts. Be prepared for lots of early starts and long journeys but the reward is seeing amazing landscapes, meeting lots of interesting people and eating some great food. The trip is a carefully planned to help you adapt to the altitude. Accommodation was a very high standard overall.

The Peruvian people are so kind and welcoming. The accommodations were top notch, every detail seen to by the program director... all we had to do was enjoy the experience.

I've wanted to do this trip for over 20 years and it exceeded all my expectations. I did this trip with my 16 year old son in the long summer break after his GCSEs and it was the most perfect father-son time we've ever shared. The views are incredible, the air as clean as it comes and the team were just outstanding. Our guide, Wilmer, led the group expertly despite different walking speeds, and the porters were just humbling. A varied and fascinating itinerary exploring lots of different parts of Peru. Our guide, Miguel, was fabulous. He is a warm and extremely competent tour guide who looked after us superbly throughout the trip. The use of specialist guides greatly added to the experience. There is a lot of travelling with this trip and sometimes we would have liked a bit more time exploring on foot rather than using a minibus. Overall, a great trip.
