Peru Tours and Trips for Young Adults

We had the most incredible experience with Alpaca Expeditions. Our tour guide Ethel Paola was incredible. We learned so much on the trail, she let us set the pace and she was a blast to spend meals with. King (chef) Julian outdid himself every meal and kept us surprised at his creativity. The group of porters we had were incredible and always making sure we were taken care of. The bond they have was like a family and we felt it the entire trip. We had the best time and thanks to La Pachamama, we lucked out with the most beautiful weather and experience. Thank you!

I’ve been on a number of Contiki’s but the Peruvian Highlights was one of the best! Joel, the trip manager, is phenomenal and did a great job making sure the group bonded! We saw tons of cool Incan ruins and learned lots about the culture. In the jungle we even got to see a monkey! I highly recommend this trip.

The trip was amazing. I appreciated the effort our guide, Elio, and the True Mountain Travelers put in to introduce us to the Quechua culture. The hike, camping and exploration wouldnt have been the same without them

Our trip manager was just amazing, going above and beyond for every single person in the group. Peru was absolutely phenomenal but there just wasn’t enough time in Brazil. I would have liked to have spent a full week in Rio and also explored beyond Copacabana. I felt like we barely got to see any of Rio which is a shame as it’s an incredible place but not safe to explore solo so it would have been better done as a group. The early starts were very tough but it was worth it for an unforgettable experience!

This trip was an awesome summary of Peru, but not for the faint of heart! The trip was a great summary of the various regions of Peru, the history, food, and local customs. We went to some places I honestly don't know how I would've visited if not for Contiki. The trip is no relaxing vacation though, between late nights and early mornings, this trip is best for those who seek adventure. Overall, I would definitely recommend this trip to those who aren't afraid to wake up early and explore/learn things.
