For the adventurer who loves a challenging trek

This trip had a great mix of trekking and learning about Peruvian culture and Inca history. The views were incredible and there are so many Inca sites along the way. The food was an absolute standout!

The trail was epic ! The best experience of my life ! Our guide Lucy managed logistics very well. She was knowledgeable and kept us moving together well. Our chef, Wenceslao needs to be crowned as the star of the trip. I’m vegan and he made me food that exceeded any expectations and beyond. How he made such delicious meals on top of a mountain baffles me. Shout out to all the porters of #5 for their superhero power of getting our gear up the mountains.

Spectacular challenging trekking and amazing food!

This trip provides a fantastic combination of challenging remote trekking on the Salkantay section and over the Inca Chiriasca pass, the traditional Inca Trail with amazing site of Machu Picchu from the Sun Gate, plus many fascinating Inca sites which were brought to life by our exceptional and knowledgeable leader, Edwind. The food on the trek was superb - big shout out to our amazing chefs - plus meals out in Cusco were a revelation, with beautifully presented, tasty options.

The activities were all jam packed and amazing, everyone loved it. The only issue was the Peru hop transportation as the lack of a private bus took away the magic of travelling together.

If you’re ready for a challenging hike at elevation, and you want to see some of the most remarkably unspoiled ruins in South America; this is the trip for you!

This trip is one I could never have taken by myself. There were no logistical worries usually associated with travel. The service was excellent when I missed my flight and had to change my transport. The experiences are unique to G Adventures because of their connections to the local communities. This is a trip of a lifetime and there are so many others available all over the world. A friend who has done quite a bit of traveling recommended G Adventures. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to explore the world, have a distinctive experience, with no hassle. You can just enjoy the trip! I want to stress that this is primarily due to Nestor along with the help of chef Florentino and Delfin. Absolutely outstanding in every way.
