Peru Tours in Spring

Wonderful itinerary. Guides were knowledgeable and patient. Machu Picchu Hotel was very loud with trains, parties and fumes from the trains. Galapagos was one surprise after another. The final hacienda hotel in Quito was breathtaking. By far my favorite accommodation. Great trip.

Peru - a beautiful country. Inca ruins, salt plains, an unforgetable boarding the train and Machu Picchu. Cuzco has so much to offer. Guide was fantastic amd passionate about his country Ecuador has stunning cathedrals and beautiful scenary. Galapagos islands were incredible. So much wildlife seen and lovely to see the conservation efforts for tortoises and other species. Was also amazing to see the Blue footed boobies doing their mating rituals and the frigate birds nesting. Completely unforgettable full on trip

I had a fabulous holiday with explore in Peru. We saw amazing places stayed in lovely hotels and had fabulous food.Arturo our tour leader was incredible- so informative and helpful, going the extra mile to ensure that we had the best holiday ever. I would definitely recommend this holiday it truly was amazing.

Such an amazing holiday. Jose at True Mountain Traveler made it such an excellent experience and provided a lot of care and patience to us. You also get to meet wonderful likeminded people who love the outdoors just as much as you. Highly recommended. Just make sure you arrive a few days before to acclimate to the high altitude.

This was genuinely one of the best experiences of my life, and a huge amount of that comes down to how well Explore organised the whole thing. Pabel, our tour leader, was absolutely brilliant - knowledgeable, warm, and incredibly well-organised. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and you could tell the whole operation had been carefully thought through. The route Explore uses is particularly impressive - we managed to avoid the bulk of the crowds on the trail, which made the whole experience feel far more immersive and special than I'd expected. We were a small group of seven and that made such a difference. Everyone gelled immediately and we had so much fun together. The porters deserve a special mention: they were phenomenal, and the food on the trail was genuinely outstanding. They even baked a birthday cake at the highest elevation campsite, which tells you everything about the spirit of the team. The one thing that held me back from a perfect score was the main hotel in Cusco. The location is excellent, but my room was really noisy - you could hear the reception phone and conversations drifting in from the courtyard throughout the night. For a trip this good, it felt like an easy fix that would make an already brilliant experience flawless. Highly, highly recommend Explore for the Inca Trail. Already thinking about the next one.

There are so many different experiences - from quaint museums and restaurants to ancient ruins, salt mines, educational tapestry excursions, and exotic wildlife. The Peruvian people are so kind and welcoming. The accommodations were top notch, every detail seen to by the program director... all we had to do was enjoy the experience.
