Excellent itinerary... well planned. I loved the timing of everything.
We recently did the wonderful france with trafalgar tour for 9 days. Visited some very nice places especially the south of france. We got a taste of places which we may consider to return and spend longer one day. the director was awesome and knowledgeable. The driver was fantastic and lovely and made a comfortable and easy trip. The people in our group made this trip particularly special as we all got along well and this is what made the trip so fun. Everything was organised well so most of the planning is done! Forever special memories made with special people!
Had a fantastic time on the trip. The trip is designed to give a small taste of various spots. There are certainly some stops that I would have like to have more time at and others that I would have like to had less time at. Just another reason to come back. Overall Trafalgar did a good job and we had an amazing tour director. I would definitely recommend.
Everything was just Perfect !! Our tour director *personal info removed by Feefo* l was nice, knowledgeable, attentive to everyone’s week being. Our driver *personal info removed by Feefo* was excellent and safe. Absolutely everything went as planned and scheduled.. Thank You !!
Sometimes, less is more. I.e Rushing from one place to another without more than an hour to enjoy some destinations, I would rather have done less places but have more time to enjoy the ones we did see. ALSO get on top of the Restaurants you use… I am a Coeliac ( gluten free) not by choice. The restaurants you choose to use often has very unacceptable replacement dishes, ie. Lettuce and tomato salad ( no dressing as my entree when everyone else is enjoying fabulous food. This happened 4 times over nine days. We pre let them know about my dietary restrictions and they were not at all obliging .
We had an absolutely fantastic trip. Everything was perfect. I feel like we won "the golden ticket" by having as our tour director. She was/is kind, extremely knowledgeable on all things France and Monaco, humorous, attentive to ensuring every single part of our tour was properly arranged, showed us so much and taught us so much about France, French culture and history....and Monaco as well. It was so hard to leave. She is a gem and we are very grateful. I would tour again with Trafalgar in a heartbeat and if it were to be in other parts of France, I would hope to be with again! When you take a tour, you have to understand that you'll see a lot of wonderful places and sights, but you may not necessarily spend a lot of time there because you have an itinerary to follow. So you might want to add a few days at the beginning or end of your trip for anything you want to spend a lot of time at, ie museums, etc. I would recommend beforehand so your expected jetlag is somewhat reduced in time for the tour to begin....because you will be busy doing a lot! Touring like this gives you the ability to say "you were there" and if/when you return, you may have ideas of where you want to spend more time. If you don't come back, you have lifetime memories. We have lifetime memories of France, as a family, thanks to . Merci, merci!
Itinerary was reasonably packed and affordable
Not really, they can discover it for themselves like we did.
Great itinerary and a great guide!
This itinerary gave is the opportunity to see all the sights we hoped to visit. The excursions were well planned and the local guides were very knowledgeable. Travel by bus was generally comfortable.
We loved this 9 day tour of France. Paris was spectacular and fun and the French Rivera was amazing to see. We loved the meeting the people on the tour and our guide was so fun. We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see France.
I enjoyed this trip and I would recommend this to trip. The food was amazing and all of the places were beautiful.
I would like to stop and explore some venues rather than traveling from location to location and getting a quick taste of France. The trip was a majority traveling rather than exploring.
The travel bus is a big part of the trip and broken hot buses ruined the experience.
I found that we visited many wonderful place. The hotel we stayed at in Paris Renaissance Paris la Defense was very nice but located in the business district. There were no restaurants near by. It was a subway ride to get to the center of Paris if anyone wanted to explore on the day that we arrived. The hotel rooms were not ready for us . The hotel Evergreen Laurel had a beautiful lobby but the rooms were old and needed upgrading. I found our tour director to be knowlegdeable and handled our large group very well.
Some of the days were too long on the bus that made it was exhasting. The hotel quality was a little lacking also.
