A wide-ranging introduction to Europe- canals, rivers, Alpine peaks and then key parts of Paris. Covers over 1000 miles in a week, but comfortable and well-organized. Top quality hotels, an expert driver, and a tour leader who offers expert knowledge, not a running narrative. Our tour group included smart, sophisticated, and interesting people from around the world.

Much packed into a week for our group of 9 travelers. Everyone thought it was a great trip and would recommend it. All dinners provided were wonderful.
Minor disappointment in the Amsterdam hotel’s rather remote location.

This itinerary allowed us to visit and explore four countries and many incredible places in just seven days. It was a perfect balance of sightseeing, experiences, and exploration for us. We got a taste of Amsterdam and Germany, and a bit more time to explore Switzerland and Paris. The included activities were fabulous, and the added optional events were wonderful as well. The Be Our Guest dinner was a highlight of the week, along with special little surprises our tour guide provided along the way. There was also time for us to explore on our own. Mornings were early, but breakfast was great and we got more time at our destinations. This is a perfect itinerary for folks wanting to explore a bit of Europe without worrying about logistics. Everything is handled and planned for an exceptional adventure.

There is a lot packed into this trip. There is a lot of time on the bus, but it’s completely worth it. You get to see all of the things that are important in each location. Absolutely recommend this tour. Everything was great, but Lucerne and Paris were just amazing. The days start early, but there is always a great breakfast to start the day. You don’t have to do all of the optional experiences, but we did most of them and they really added to the overall experience.
Our tour group was 46 people from teens to people in their 70s. After a few hours they seemed like family and it was really hard to say goodbye at the farewell dinner.

This itinerary takes in four countries over six days. It may seem like it packs in a lot over a relatively short period of time, however the shortcomings become apparent once you're on the trip. The only things you see of Amsterdam is on the canal cruise the first evening and then you leave the Netherlands first thing the following morning. In Lucerne, unless you buy the three optional experiences (which are altogether expensive) there is actually nothing included as part of the itinerary, not even a local specialist guided walk which could easily be done as Lucerne town is small and easy to navigate. This is a shocking omission. Finally, the travelling time from Lucerne to Paris takes up one full day so really your itinerary becomes five days. Overall I don't think this tour is one of Trafalgar's better value ones, it is too ambitious and the inclusions are not adequate.
