Explored the highlights in each location with a few added highlights
This was our first trip to France and Spain and it was a wonderful trip. our Tour Director was wonderful as well. Just wish there was a bit more free time at some of these bigger cities. The hotels could be a tiny bit better more centralized. Some of the Buffet breakfast were not good at all.
A little bit of more free time at locations
It was a very organised holiday. Everything was planned well.
As it was my first time in France, I wouldn't change the itinerary.
This was our 2nd Trafalgar trip., so we knew what to expect (early morning departure's, lots of time in the coach, etc.) Overall, we were very pleased and really enjoyed our experience. a few notes for those of you considering this vacation: the good: -great travel advisor (), very sweet, attentive, very knowledgeable -coach was comfortable. visited many small towns off the beaten path (Avignon, Carcassonne, etc.) -good, diverse mix of people/families on our vacation. all very friendly. -bad traffic situation in Paris // so instead of waiting for our coach, our travel advisor set us up with a taxi (saved us over an hour of wait time) the bad: -some of the included dinners limit you to 2 drinks (it was not like this on our Italy trip 2 years ago) - our 2 night stay in Nice // our hotel room's AC was not working very well (luckily the front desk provided us a fan) -long delay getting checked into the hotel in Barcelona (probably b/c we had just entered that country from France) -tour did not include the Louvre, spent only 10-15 minutes near the Eiffel tower for a picture, only toured the exterior of La Sagrada Familia (we did Louvre on our own and skipped the Cabaret dinner) -spent a lot of time driving between cities (bring a good book!)
