Juan CoronelMy name is Juan Coronel and I was born in Cachiccata, a small village in the district of Ollantaytambo in Cusco, Peru. Since I was little I saw hundreds of tourists traveling through my hometown, and also my father worked as a porter for many years on the famous Inca Trail. Growing up in a tourist area inspired me to become a tour guide. When I finished high school, I attended the University of Cusco where I graduated in Hospitality and Tourism. I also traveled to the USA and Australia for a few years to improve my language skills. While I was at university, I worked as a porter for the Inca Trail, Salkantay, and most of the trekking routes in Cusco. Then after my travels, I started working as a tour guide because I knew every single trail. I started leading small groups and soon became one of the top-rated tour guides to Machu Picchu. Now I work in Cusco helping travelers to organize amazing travel itineraries throughout all of Peru and Bolivia.Read more

Ruth FranklinI discovered the Maldives almost 20 years ago, visiting as a scuba diver in search of mantas and whale sharks. I was fortunate and found a reasonably priced resort that allowed me to stay and indulge in my hobby. But then came along development and my well-loved resort went luxury and beyond my price range. So I moved to diving from a boat, which also enabled me to gain an understanding of local island life. I always consider myself lucky to have found a group of Maldivian friends who would invite me to their family homes for dinner, share afternoon hedhika, and invite me for coffee and beetle nuts! My love and appreciation of this country, its people, its culture, and its traditions were almost immediate and resulted in me visiting the archipelago on over 30 occasions. In 2012, the opportunity to relocate arose. I had at that point worked for UK retailer British Home Stores for over 25 years and felt it was time for a change so, with the support of a local businessman, we formed a tour company. Our mission is to introduce the real Maldives to guests and support local communities.Read more

Steven VigorI am originally from London, but after buying a house in Portugal about 20 years ago, I eventually decided to move here full-time 10 years ago. Soon after, I started a travel service providing tailor-made vacations. When I first started out, I wanted to make sure that I could meet some very demanding expectations. Initially, I focused only on the Algarve region, where I live, but then the focus was increased to all of Portugal. Later on, that focus was increased again to cover all of Spain and its islands. I had to make sure I was familiar with all of the regions and cities. Now, I can say I have travelled the entire Iberian Peninsula and have the experience to offer you a wonderful vacation, no matter your interests or requirements. I know the best hotels, apartments and villas to suit all budgets. The best tour guides. The best sights to see and experiences to do. And all the different transport options to fit all budgets.Read more

Ivana GasserNowadays, more and more people are trading traditional success for a better quality of life, and this is what I did. After 10 years in the world of finance, I exchanged my suits for flip-flops, armed with the goal of discovering the world and obtaining more personal satisfaction. I came across Mexico because I traveled around the country as a tourist a few times and I literally fell in love with the culture, diversity, and lifestyle. I feel the greatest enthusiasm for diving. There are very few places on this planet that allow us to explore the underwater world like Mexico, its lagoons, coasts, and rivers. It is difficult to become aware of the natural beauty of this country until you have ventured into the underwater world. Add to that the beautiful nature and the enormous jungles, and Mexico is an absolute paradise.Read more

Rosa LaraI was born and raised in Montilla, a small town in the province of Córdoba. After earning my degree in languages at the University of Granada, I worked for 14 years in international sales. During those years working for different companies, I had a recurring dream: opening my own small boutique travel agency. I wanted to make travelers fall in love with Spain by offering bespoke experiences that would remain forever in their souls. I was tired of seeing big groups of tourists being herded around under the merciless sun of Cordoba. It was about time authentic travelers, who appreciate quality time and true human connections, could have the opportunity to learn more about our culture and savor the magic taste of life in Spain. In 2013 I decided it was the right moment to follow my passion and my company, Just Explore, was born. They say that home is where the heart is, and mine definitely belongs to Spain. I feel passion and love for what this magical country has to offer and I want to share this contagious feeling with my guests. I love meeting new people and getting to know them really well so my team and I can design the perfect trip for them. I believe that personal touch is what makes the difference.Read more

William GilmanI am originally from Belgium and I love nature — especially the natural environment of Sweden. I spent many years in the heart of Swedish nature learning all the details about the environment, culture, and wildlife of the region and beyond, before I decided to share my passion with the world. I also love communicating with people. So, what I do now is the combination of the two. I traveled around the world for 5 years with only my backpack and tent. After this long and life-changing journey, I knew what I wanted was to share with people. I decided to settle back in Europe and Sweden was my first choice because of its seemingly endless wilderness. I have since then been traveling through the country, discovering its entire nature and culture from north to south. In 2016, I founded a travel company to share my love for nature, Swedish culture, and the wilderness in its purest state.Read more

When I was a kid I traveled a lot with my family, and then when I was a bit older I studied hospitality at university and I discovered my passion for traveling. I did my first internship abroad when I was 19 years old, and since then I have never stopped; I have traveled all around Argentina, and to several destinations in Chile as well. Now, I live in Valencia (Spain) but I still aim to spend 2–3 months in Argentina every year to help our team and also continue to discover new fantastic travel experiences. That experience was a milestone for me and helped me discover how much I love meeting and interacting with people from all over the world. My curiosity to discover new places and cultures, and my love for nature, have led me to the travel industry. I love bringing people together and encouraging everybody to explore the world.Read more

Ana GutiérrezTraveling is what I love the most! I really enjoy discovering unique places and people and I also love showing my favorite destinations to others— sharing experiences, flavors, and adventures. I have years of travel experience combined with a degree in tourism, so I like to say I know a bit about traveling. I started working in tourism while I was still studying at University, and after spending some time working in an office I went traveling myself, becoming a solo traveler through South America. It was then I realized that what I really wanted to do — and what I enjoy doing the most — is sharing the beauty of my country with travelers from all over the world, showing others the amazing experiences and richness of culture we have in Argentina, and of course our delicious food and wines.Read more

Sebastian MuñozI am proudly Mexican, having grown up in Mexico City and California. Currently, my favorite hobbies are adventure-related sports such as hiking, climbing, mountaineering, and snowboarding, among others. Mexico's natural and cultural richness was one of my main motivations for wanting to travel and work side by side with rural populations and communities throughout the country, especially with those who care for their environment through tourism. These experiences inspired me to be one of the co-founders of an agency that bases its values and aspirations, as I do, on natural and cultural diversity. Every day this creates consciousness about the environment in which we are and drives me to share my thoughts with people from other parts of the world or even with people close to me who can make a change, just like me.Read more

Tina RajkovicAs a child, I spent a lot of time being active in nature not far from where we lived in Croatia. My parents often took me hiking, and this is how I learned to enjoy the little things and to respect and preserve our Mother Nature. After school, I worked in an agency that organized school trips within Croatia, and as a guide, I visited almost every corner of my country. Over time, my love for nature and animals only increased, and caring for the environment became an essential part of my nature trips. I love spending time outdoors and spend most of my free time wandering and exploring around, in the company of family, friends, and two dogs. Life is simple, and the simplicity of life is the key to its quality and overall happiness. I want to share that with our clients. It's beautiful everywhere, you just have to see it.Read more

Sean PowerI must have been destined to start a tour company. My father set up a bus company in 1986, and from a young age, I was always involved in the business, whether it was answering phones or cleaning the vehicles. I have also always been very sportive, and I love hiking and biking. I love meeting people from around the globe and hearing their stories. So, after graduating from college with a degree in Business and Tourism, I set up my own tour company. In 2008, after a few years exploring the island of Ireland and some lessons learned along the way, I decided it was time to introduce my innovative style of travel to the whole island of Ireland, where the real adventure was waiting to begin. My tourism style is all about taking travelers to remote destinations, visiting places of breathtaking scenery, meeting inspiring people, and experiencing great hospitality. All mixed together with stories of legendary history and culture. When you share these unique adventures with a great group of people from all over the world… well, that is when the real Irish spirit comes into play!Read more

William ArmstrongI grew up in Dorset and spent many a summer traveling in Wales with family. After studying in Swansea and Oxford I became a town planner. I acquired extensive walking and mountaineering experience in the UK, Europe, America, and Nepal and began leading walking parties in the UK and France. In 2007, my dad and I launched our own travel company to share my knowledge and passion for magical landscapes. I have led many guided walking holidays, but I also prepare most of the trips we work on. Always jovial, with plenty of stories to tell, I'll be your perfect antidote to working in the office (or whatever work you are escaping from). My experience, qualifications, and interests in various subjects, including geography, geology, and the environment, provide an added dimension to all holidays. I also create travel notes for self-guided holidays that reflect my desire to share my knowledge and enhance a traveler’s holiday.Read more

Steve ArnerichI started working in the tourism industry after backpacking through South America in 1996. I landed up in Denver, Colorado, USA, and became a white water rafting guide, taking tourists down Grade 3 rapids and trying not to lose them! Upon my return to Sydney, Australia in November 1996, I cut my teeth on three-day camping adventures and day trips to the amazing Blue Mountains, just west of Sydney. I have also introduced many tourists to the scenic dolphin/whale watching cruises in Port Stephens and led informed tours through the beautiful wine country of the Hunter Valley. Like most tour guides, I love dealing with international visitors; I can speak conversational Japanese, German, Spanish, and a smattering of Dutch. I have extensive knowledge of Australian history, Aboriginal culture, Sydney city, Australian wildlife, (just ask me for my kookaburra impersonation!) the Hunter Valley, and the Blue Mountains.Read more

After living and working in many different places, I now live in the beautiful Westfjords. The rugged fjords, untouched landscapes and welcoming community captivated my heart, making it my home. Here, I found the perfect blend of serenity and adventure, inspiring me to share this magical place with others. When planning trips, I believe that it is important for travelers to have an authentic experience of Iceland and spend some time in nature. Angela GianniotiHi everyone! I am Angela (or as my Greek friends call me, Aggeliki). I am a travel and adventure lover just like you! I have been working in the travel industry for a quite few years now, and I still love creating new exciting trips, tours, and above all, experiences for people from all around the world that choose to visit this amazing country. Born and raised in the US by Greek parents, I have been living in Greece since 1992 and loving it — there is no better place to live! Sun, sea, mountains, rivers, nightlife, food, culture, people, parties, fun, and a safe environment all consist of making Greece the ideal place to live or (if you're not that fortunate), to travel to during your holidays or even for a city break! I have always loved traveling and discovering new places, especially hidden gems of places. From the time I was a young adult, I was getting in my car and heading for road trips! I discovered each and every corner of Greece and met amazing locals along the way. As the years passed by I found that I had become a travel expert on Greece. Then it hit me! I had to share this knowledge with other people, so I found a job at a travel agency and quickly scaled myself up to being the director of the incoming travel planning department. After getting the necessary knowledge of running a travel business I decided to establish my own travel company in June 2018. I am also an Adventure Travel Guide Standard Board Member Representing Greece since 2015. I am still sharing my local expertise and experience with the same excitement as day one!Read more

Group hike with Kilisa Tours I joined a group hike with Kilisa Tours as a solo traveler, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. Everything about the service was wonderful - from the smooth organization and warm welcome to the professional guides, friendly porters, and excellent food on the mountain. Even though I started alone, I never once felt like it. The team made me feel part of the group right away, and their constant support and smiles gave me confidence all the way to the summit. Climbing Kilimanjaro is challenging, but with Kilisa Tours it felt safe, well cared for, and truly enjoyable. I couldn t recommend them enough to anyone planning this adventure!

I would rate 5 Star for this Local Company We had the absolute privilege of booking a safari with Kilisa Tours & Safari, and I can honestly say their service is nothing short of 5-star excellence. From the very first communication to the final day of our trip, the entire experience was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. Our guide was incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife and shared insightful knowledge about the animals, landscapes, and cultures. Every game drive was exciting and perfectly paced, and the accommodations selected by Kilisa Tours were comfortable and well-suited to the authentic safari experience. I would recommend this service to anyone as they deliver not only on organization and expertise but also on creating memories that will last a lifetime.

It is the second time I use bookmundi. This time it was Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. We travelled from 15 th of may till 31 of may. We spent 2,5 days in Hanoi and then moved to HA LONG for one night cruise. After cruise we returned to Hanoi to flight to Luang Prabang. I want to thank our guide . His nick name is Aiy or Jack Topfish on the fb. He spent with us much more time that he should have. Except planned tours he took us to local villages. We even visited his grand ma. At the departure day he also took us to the airport and did not live us until we passed passport control. From Laos we flight to Siem Reap. After 3 days we moved to Hoi An and after one day we moved to hue and than to Ho Si Min, our final destination. During all our journey everything worked excellent and for this we are very grateful for two Vietnamize girls - Linh Alessia Le and Jenny. If the problem appeared they immediately resolved it.
