Fantastic holiday loved it - very challenging in the heat but beautiful itinerary, great group and wonderful leader-highly recommend. This is my 16th holiday I’ve done with explore over the last 30 years and really do think cycling is the best way to explore a country.

Such a great tour, mostly lovely bike paths some streets with more traffic but still great for cycling with great views. Great fellow travellers. Superbe and very friendly guide Lucas, who managed to keep the group together easily and without pushing or stopping anyone and driver Paulo who did a lot of work behind the scenes (was also our picnic chef). Clean accommodation, perfectly located. Bikes in good shape. However the trip ist expensive considering it's not even a week long and only breakfast is included. I would change the itinerary and add a day at a beach town in the middle, after 2 or 3 days cycling it makes sense to have a break from it and enjoy the beautiful beaches and relax a bit.

From start to finish it was all and more than I had wished for. We travelled to all the places in Ireland that were on my list to see and do. All the tours gave so much insight into the country, both the troubles and good. Allie our Tour Director was amazing with her knowledge, stories and folklore. Davey our driver was a "smooth operator" getting that bus in and out of places and smooth driving. We only had 1 Optional Experience, a dinner out that was not as good as I was hoping for. All other Optional Experiences were terrific.

It was well organized. The tour director and driver were excellent. The meals and restaurants included in the package were good. However, the rest stop meal options and taste were ordinary.

Fabulous itinerary - we visited the most charming towns. It was lovely! The pace was perfect. Our tour guide was fantastic! She kept it interesting and super fun with her fabulous energy! The local tour guides were good too. The hotels were good except for San Gimignano. It was NOT a 4-Star Hotel. The dinner that was included in the tour was a disgrace. Could not believe what was being served. The hotel, while it had a beautiful view, was run down and there was mold in the showers.

This was a good trip which really introduced us to the different range of locations in the beautiful country of Croatia. The walks were varied, and where necessary adjustments were made to suit the climate and crowds. Our free day was spent in the charming town of Zadar which started with a very informative guided tour. The accomodation was comfortable and the rooms sufficiently spacious that when being occupied on a twin share basis with a stranger, did not feel cramped. The tour leader was knowledgable and very sensitive to the varied group needs - excellent.
