My first Explore holiday and definitely won’t be my last. The leaders Tarkan and Ali were amazing. Tarkan saw to our every need and was confident in his leadership and knowledge. Ali was also wonderful and had an incredibly rich knowledge of Turkish history and wildlife. Together they made a great combination. The cycling was hot, hilly and hardwork, I wd rate it at above moderate personally but a great way to see the real Turkey. Going in Oct rather than Sept cd possibly be a better option with the heat. All in all a wonderful holiday, thank you

Great tour, very varied itinerary. The tour leaders were keen to ensure we had a good experience and gave us lots of information about Turkey. Bikes need little more attention on day to day basis and service after each tour.

Excellent in SO MANY WAYS. Loved the hiking and the itinerary - too steep in some small sections, luckily we all made it through without injury — a blessing. Excellent group of hikers, got along great and all were supportive if one another. Aykut was wonderful as a guide and fellow human. One concern is he let the line get too spread out and this definitely caused safety issues as a few times the back few couldn’t follow along and took off inadvertently on wrong trails and fortunately we could call them back to the line - he really needs to tighten up there. I wished he had shown more interest and curiosity in getting to know group members at least a little. But he was wonderful to hang out with and he was extremely well informed and knowledgeable , passionate, and witty. Overall it was a terrific experience and adventure!

This was a great itinerary led by an excellent tour guide. I feel like I learned a lot about Turkey, its history, and is people. I really appreciated meeting with some of those people.

Fantastic holiday, saw so many interesting and varied sites. As per trip notes, it’s certainly full on with a lot of driving so don’t underestimate that - up to 7 hours on some days, with stops along the way- ten of us in a large, comfortable coach so plenty of room to spread out. Hotels were a mixed bag but ok - I had to change rooms in two of them for various reasons. Stone House in Capadoccia was the best. Guide- Mehmet- was excellent- learned a huge amount about the sites and Turkey from him. Funny, very helpful. Trip notes need updating- I really wanted to go to Xantos on the free day but it’s a long way- very expensive by taxi. Mehmet suggested Patala which I can recommend. He also made an unscheduled stop for us at Xantos the following day, as it was on the way. Food very good- I’m a vegetarian but Mehmet made sure there were always options for us. Great trip- highly recommend it!

A little too much in one day since there was eight hours of travel during the day there was no free time. We made it to the hotels late afternoon evening and never enjoyed the cities that we slept in. It would have been more enjoyable if we stayed at hotels that were in the center of town and we made it to the hotel around 3 o’clock and at least toured the city on foot and shopped a little in the cities that we were staying. By the time we got to the hotel, it was dinner time then bedtime and next morning early we left. We wanted more spa time and relaxation at the hotels we stayed in so that we could get ready and save energy for the next day. However, I must admit it was very well organized. Real spent a lot of money on their clients for the Tours for the tour guide for the accommodation of the buses. The hotels were excellent except for Kapadokya hotel, which was very inconvenient for seniors. They should make sure that when there is a hotel like that with caves and stairs to put the seniors on ground level where they can reach the cafeterias and the office easily, and put the young people at the farthest rooms instead of the elderly at the farthest rooms.
