Each day the hiking was different. The logistics were well covered- hauling our luggage from hotel to hotel and showing up with rides to our hikes. The hotels were all very comfortable. I would recommend using this company for hiking trips.

Great itinerary for a short trip. Having 2 nights is some locations made the tour made for a more relaxing trip. Hotels were lovely. Unfortunately Christmas markets were not open in the mornings when we visited. The Bernina express was delightful with wonderful snow covered scenery. The trip up to the Jungfrau was absolutely amazing and definitely a 'bucket list' experience. Our tour director Danielle was fantastic. So helpful, kind and gave us great information about all the places we visited.

We had a great 2 weeks in Saudi with guide Abdu, laughing and learning all the way. This small group was well traveled, many with Exodus. This was our 3rd Exodus trip, though we've traveled a lot independently. After Saudi we flew to Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar (where we "celebrated" our 100th country visited; we recommend adding these places for independent travel). But Saudi Arabia is big, complex and we were so happy to have a guide like Abdu to explain everything. We peppered him nonstop with questions and he was informed and forthcoming on any topic. Had we not toured with a guide and group we would have missed a lot. We never found the bus rides (or train rides) overly long or taxing and felt very safe even on some (gorgeous) winding mountain roads. We enjoyed every meal, hotels were very nice with comfy beds, etc. And the farm stay, sleeping pads on the floor, was fantastic. Don't be put off by thinking it's too rustic! During our travels we found infrastructure to be modern, clean and efficient, English spoken widely.

I've wanted to do this trip for over 20 years and it exceeded all my expectations. I did this trip with my 16 year old son in the long summer break after his GCSEs and it was the most perfect father-son time we've ever shared. The views are incredible, the air as clean as it comes and the team were just outstanding. Our guide, Wilmer, led the group expertly despite different walking speeds, and the porters were just humbling. This trip ticked every single one of my boxes and we look back on it with both the sense of achievement and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Our trip to Australia with Luxury Gold was an excellent experience, it was a very busy itinerary, but it allowed us to see a lot of what Australia has to offer. The whole schedule was put together exceptionally well, and our Tour Manager was very attentive and looked after us throughout the trip. Our favourite hotel was The Reef Hotel, The Langham was also exceptional. The only part we would change, would be the trip to the Yarra Valley in Melbourne, as the visit to the Chocolate experience was not for us. In hindsight we would rather have spent the day at leisure in Melbourne. Every other aspect of the trip was spot on, we loved it.

Fantastic itinerary covering the major sights, incredible palaces, spectacular forts, and beautiful temples of the ‘Golden Triangle’ Rajasthan. Luxurious beautiful hotels, all diverse in size and style and even one where we arrived and departed by private boat! Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff in traditional dress. Some of the hotels performed a traditional scarf ceremony or beautiful flower necklaces with traditional music. A few of the hotels surprised us with rose petals which were sprinkled from high above onto us as we entered! Yes there was the opposite end of the spectrum where in the big cities horns were blowing and scooters were everywhere zigzagging and livestock sometimes laying in the middle of the road. I must say it was all fascinating creating a lot of laughs and part of the experience of India. The itinerary included experiences were great! The places we visited were incredibly beautiful, such diverse architecture, decoration and history. The Taj Mahal sends shivers when you first see it and seems surreal. The sunrise casting a beautiful golden light onto the buildings was sublime. Our Tuk Tuk tour through New Delhi, and our jeep journey through the dunes at sunset with our evening dinner (with entertainment) in the middle of the dunes was fantastic! The mix of the big city, villages, countryside, hilltop fortresses, lakes, forests and sand dunes really gave a great diversity of experiences. We even had monkeys in the trees above us during lunch one day! Our coach was very comfortable and spacious and appreciated the endless bottled water on board. Enjoyed the commentary and care given by our Travelling Concierge who was very helpful with every request. India for me was a country filled with a rainbow of bright color and very lovely and beautiful people who were so polite and friendly with gorgeous smiles! That is one of my big takeaways from this trip. Well done Luxury Gold it was a great holiday and would not hesitate to travel with you again!

First two days due to strong winds we were exploring unexpectedly fjord near Kangerlussuaq airport in Greenland. This affected the planned itinerary and expedition team worked hard to resolve various issues. It was a very memorable experience with 18 nights on board of Ultramarine. We have visited places where no other expedition ships have been or only visited on rare occasions. We were lucky with clear skies on the first 6 nights and the Aurora Borealis was better and better on each night. Glaciers, icebergs were nice backdrops on many photos and experiences were enhanced with helicopter flights over magnificent landscapes of Baffin island (Sam Ford fjord especially) and Greenland. Wonderful autumn colours of tundra and rock formations were explored on many hikes in addition to the visits to archeological sites. Introduction to Inuit culture and history was during visits to Itileq, Ilulissat, Uummannaaq, Nipisat island and Pond Inlet. It was enhanced by performances of local artists and visits to Inuit colourful homes. Although the wildlife of Arctic is not so plentiful as in Antarctica, we managed to have wonderful observations of numerous polar bears (12 in one day!), seals and birds. We also followed somewhat the footsteps of Franklin's expedition and reached the Beechey island where the expedition has spent the winter in 1845/46 and where are some graves of the sailors. Expedition team members presented many interesting lectures on history, geology, birds and bears. It was also a nice culinary experience of Greenlandic cuisine: Tundra to Table.

The ship and staff for the journey provided enthusiastic, effective and patient support, with a well-executed itinerary that I'd trust for future trips. Food and accommodation were excellent. Waters were very calm once reaching Antarctica, to relieve anyone's seasickness. Mountain and Glacier landscapes were great. The wildlife in the area is plentiful, where we saw at least some whales, seals and penguins every day we were in Antarctica and probably 20ish whales overall. The animals aren't afraid of humans and so at worst ignore you as you get fairly close. Extra downtime filled with interesting presentations about history, animals, current antarctic science and recent environmental issue affecting it. If you absolutely must have Emporer penguins, elephant seals or Orca, check the season you're going as we saw just a few but they were unusual and not to be expected at the time/places we went. I'd recommend this trip to anyone I knew going to Antarctica who hasn't been there before and doesn't have extremely specific desires for wildlife that I didn't mention. It's fun, comprehensive, and the minimum commitment required for the adventure it offers. This trip took place on the Ocean Endeavor, in early-mid February, on the West side of the Antarctic Peninsula.

I highly recommend this tour to other travelers. Our tour leader Pauline was precise, knowledgeable of te countries we visited. She was also very helpful, since we needed an adaptor to charge our phones. She lent us her own. Our driver Robbie, made sure that we were safe on board and that we were all accounted and waited for those who are late comers. I enjoyed the places we visited. Burgundy and Bruges in Belgium were excellent destinations. We got to try the Belgian waffles, chocolates and wine tasting too. Visited a cheese factory in the Netherlands and how to make clogs. Switzerland is my favorite. The Alps and it's just beautiful there. I would like to go back and visit again. Maybe organize a tour for a week in Switzerland, that will be awesome. Thank you expat, explore for a wonderful tour.

Our trip on the Portugese Coastal Camino was excellent. They were very easy to work with and their communications were immediate. They took care of all hotels, luggage transfers, most meals and GPS directions. If we had any questions, they were quick to respond. We plan to use their services again.
