I recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for a shorter trek to the Everest region, or who wants/needs to stay below 5,000 metres.

Amazing trip. World Expeditions made the whole experience easy from day 1 until the last day we departed. I took my 13 and 15 year old son and we all felt like we were adventuring without losing some of the basic comforts to make the trip feel a little easier. Would highly recommend.

World Expeditions have been fantastic throughout. Professional in every way, courteous, and informative. Along the trail, the experience, and ease with which we were guided to Base Camp was awesome. The WE stamp is well and truly visible at every stop, and every camp or eco lodge. They are clearly a well-respected business across the region.

Communication - prompt and excellent Experience - most amazing trip. Still on a natural high a month later Nepal Staff - they made a difficult trek, enjoyable, informative and rewarding. Their smiling faces and gentle encouragement helped us through difficult passages. It was the most amazing trip and will be forever grateful to our leader Sanjay, Sherpa Govinda, our chef who prepared amazing gluten free meals, our porters who smiled and cheered us walking into camps. I cannot commend Workd Expeditions highly enough.

The local expertise, focus on health and safety.. and tremendous staff made this superb. A lot can go wrong on these adventurous journeys but with WE care it ran incredibly smoothly. Loved every minute of it !

This trek was incredible! Sanjay and the team did an amazing job of safely getting the group to Everest base camp and a couple of us to the top of Kala Patthar. I would highly recommend using World Expeditions for lots of reasons but 3 big ones are: 1) They cook all the food - this ensured that is was tasty and safe and no one in our group got sick, 2) mostly staying in their own campsites - the tents were really cosy and 3) the people - from the guides to the porters - were all amazing and local.
