About Mariana

Write a review
Hi, my name is Mariana. I am a Venezuelan living in beautiful Costa Rica. I fell in love with this country from the moment I arrived here with my family. This small but deeply cherished nation has taught me how to truly appreciate tourism and has given me the opportunity to share the incredible wonders Costa Rica has to offer. I studied sustainable tourism here, and I am proud to say that Costa Rica is doing a wonderful job of promoting responsible and sustainable tourism practices. Although it is a small country, Costa Rica has so much to offer international travelers: spectacular rainforests, peaceful beaches, rich culture, volcanoes, adventure, relaxation, and so much more. For me, the most special part is the warm and genuine hospitality. We work hard to preserve the magic of every trip, and that begins with the care and service we provide to our travelers.

Mariana's Expertise

My specialization is creating travel experiences that combine adventure with relaxation. I really enjoy activities such as rafting, canyoning, and zip-lining, but I also value vacations that allow time to rest and unwind, especially in hot springs or on paradisiacal beaches. My favorite beach destination is Sámara, as its peaceful atmosphere creates a truly memorable experience. My second favorite is the Arenal area because I find the volcano incredibly impressive, and the natural beauty of the region is simply amazing.

Best Travel Experience

My first rafting experience! It was on a Class II–III river. It was a full-day excursion on the Sarapiquí River, and the rush of adrenaline that comes from navigating the rapids made it truly unforgettable. During the trip, our group also had the opportunity to spot wildlife and see colorful birds flying overhead. Watching these animals in their natural habitat made the experience even more special and beautiful. What made the trip feel especially safe and enjoyable was the support of the expert guides on the Sarapiquí River. They are highly trained, experienced, and know the river extremely well. They made sure everyone was properly equipped with safety gear and taught us the basic skills needed to navigate the rapids with confidence. In addition, they shared valuable information about the local flora and fauna, which added an educational element to the adventure.

Why is Mariana the right travel expert?

I truly enjoy understanding each traveler’s needs and creating the ideal trip based on their preferences, interests, and travel style. I value communication and listening carefully to what each client is looking for, so I can help design a complete and memorable experience that allows them to fully enjoy everything Costa Rica has to offer. Having a destination specialist also gives travelers a greater sense of confidence and security when visiting a country that is different from their own. As someone who lives and works in Costa Rica’s tourism sector, I can provide local insight, trusted guidance, and personalized support to help visitors feel comfortable, well-informed, and excited throughout their journey.
