*personal info removed by Feefo*l were all wonderful! Very kind, attentive tour personnel on this trip.
Great Itinerary, organized to allow free time but also highlights all the beautiful places Paris has to offer. And and extra shout out to Travel Director ****************! His breath and depth of information plus his flexibility and wit made this tour most memorable.
We felt beautifully immersed in Paris and all of its variety. The seamless orchestration of transportation and the events themselves - including flexibility around events like the Louvre and the weather - let us truly relax and take everything in. We learned so much and had a blast every single day. Jonathan, our guide, was simply extraordinary. He magically juggled massive spectacles like Versailles with more introspective moments like tasting a fresh macaron, blissfully passive seated observation (the splendor of the Seine cruise, the Moulin Rouge) with interactive events (creating your own perfume, a cooking class), and busy, active periods balanced with some free time. Kudos for the hotel for its location, easy access to public transportation and our daily coach, incredible breakfast included and overall general comfort and amenities. My only comments about the hotel (unrelated to the tour) would be the hotel's terrible pillows and silly shower half-partition which was pretty but not practical. Whether your first time in Paris or not, this tour has so much to offer to anyone. I cannot recommend it enough.
The trip was well planned with excursions every day, but still left time for sightseeing on our own. Which worked for us, because my daughter used her phone to map our destinations, find the Metro and pay for it!! Our tour director, Jonathan, was very knowledgeable about so many topics. He has a dry sense of humor and patience which he needed because of fellow travelers who were late and/or not listening. I also liked his costumes- military for Normandy
I couldn't have wished for a more perfect experience than what I received. Every little detail was perfectly executed. From beginning to end, it was THE BEST travel experience I have ever had.
Expect individuals, not Trafalgar staff, to not pay attention and at times hinder the overall experience. Expect a lot of walking and long days
Wonderful trip! Jonathan was an excellent tour guide who made the trip fun and interesting while showing us all the sights in his city. Lunch on the Eiffel Tower was elegant, Normandy was sad and moving yet made us proud to be Americans, the Museum de Orsay and Monet’s garden were enchanting. We loved it all!
I loved everything about my trip to Paris. We had plenty of free time. Our tour guide Cindy was outstanding. We were able to see everything we wanted to see. Our specialty guides were very knowledgeable. The trips agenda was perfect.
The itinerary was wonderful. It allowed us to visit all of the must see sights in Paris. **************** Our tour director was Brilliant!! He made our visit to Paris a five star trip of a lifetime! From the Eiffel Tower to the beaches on Normandy it was a fantastic experience. And as they say in Paris “ What happens at Moulin Rouge stays at Moulin Rouge. Our experience literally had some of us dancing on the ceiling!!
The group size was way too big. We had to be broken into 2 or 3 groups on three occasions. For our final dinner we had 50 people crammed into a room better suited for 30 - 35. We didn't get details about the itinerary until the day we left the US. It was impossible to plan for our free time, especially with the need to reserve time slots at places like Ste. Chappelle and Orsay. The trip was good, but it wasn't great.
Better if it was a few days longer.
the trip was wonderful, tour guide Jonathan was extremely knowledgeable and Michal the bus driver was excellent. The only meal that was not good was the lunch at the Eiffel Tower which I heard from many on this tour.
It's an excellent experience, the travel director Jonathan and mickel the driver where so amazing during the week. Definitely it 100% recommended, my daughter had the best birthday ever. Thank you Trafalgar.
All of the great places we visited, the awesome guide and driver.
**************** was the best tour guide I’ve ever had. He was friendly, and very knowledgeable of Normandy and Paris. Michael, our tour bus driver was excellent! I wish the hotel was located in an area closer to more walkable attractions. I felt like we were in a business district.
It absolutely catered to my needs both in sights to see, dining experience and time to choose my own experience
We chose to purchase all of the optional excursions which made for a very full itinerary. Our tour guide *personal details removed by Feefo*was excellent as was our coach driver *personal details removed by Feefo*. The hotel was fine and great that we were at the same hotel for the entire stay and did not have to pack up each day. 51 people was a lot but *personal details removed by Feefo* was very good at keeping us organized. The pick up at the airport was not very clear and unfortunately I was unable to hook up with *personal details removed by Feefo* “what’s up “ app. I am not very techy. It was a lot of walking for this old girl but I did it. The not very techy does not allow me to send a picture
Coveted all which I wanted to experience
Everything was thoughtfully and carefully planned to provide a superior experience for us. Our local AAA Agent was excellent and our Trafalgar Tour Guide - Buonamo was truly outstanding.
Our travel director and bus driver were phenomenal. Both were full of great tips and knowledge of Paris and its history. We were in Paris during some labour disputes and they navigated and planned ahead so we would not miss any of our destinations as a result of the strikes. The itinerary is very full so be sure to be aware of this when planning. We wished we had gone on our own to the Louvre as there was only 2 hours allotted with the group and much of this time was spent going to the washroom and waiting for 25 members of the group. Normandy was the highlight for us with a very knowledgeable local specialist. Be sure to plan extra in your budget for very expensive meals that are not included in the trip. We went a day early to adjust to the time change. Breakfast at the hotel was 80$ CA and dinner $100 CA for pub food next door. The walking and physical requirements are accurate in the description. Do not take this tour if you have any mobility challenges, no elevator options were given during our Louvre experience which could have been offered and eased many of our group’s physical challenges. Overall we saw so many of the sights, the river cruise, Eiffel Tower lunch being my favourites. If you’ve always dreamed of seeing Paris travelling with Trafalgar is a great way to see it all.
Lots of things to do. Lots of walking.. Our tour director is very open and prepared as well for the physical aspects of the trip.
Very full days. The effort put in by was amazing. The historical content was detailed and presented in a manner that kepg us inbolved.
Well planned out itinerary. Leisure times were good.
more times at museums. Excellent tour guides who are very knowledgeable. morr time at Normandy.
Excellent trip and hotel; great tour guide, driver, and outstanding local guides.
Tour guide Jonathan Holgran was fabulous. The hotel was acceptable; although the room was small and the shower unacceptable (easily flood the bathroom because of the half glass stationery showerdoor) Eiffel Tower and lunch very enjoyable. Trip to the American Cemetery was wonderful. Moulin Rouge Show was good but the dinner was not. The boat ride down the River Seine was great. Palace Versaille was a great trip. The Louve was wonderful. The farewell dinner was a long way from the hotel and the food not very good. Would have preferred a guided tour of Notre Dame rather than wasting time and energy on the activities listed below. I think the following activities were fillers and not very enjoyable. The perfume making class The cooking class was not fun. The wine and cheese tasting was the worst I have ever attended. The walking tour was not fun and could have been left off and the time used better in another activity.
Great schedule. Lots of the best things to see in Paris included! Knowledgeable guide and expert prompt driver.
Our tour of Paris through Trafalgar was excellent. Our tour guide, and our bus driver, were excellent. is very knowledgeable, caring and detailed oriented. One of my relatives on this trip became ill and arranged for a doctor to come to her room to provide care for her. The Paris Explorer itinerary is excellent. All of the included and optional experiences were great. We had a wonderful experience and we highly recommend this tour.
We thought that the itinerary was curated to perfection. The options for additional excursions were great! We felt like we saw everything that we wanted to see and more! Fabulous tour guide in and the great driver.
The whole itinerary for the Paris Explorer trip was well planned and carried out in a timely fashion. I can’t say enough great things about , our guide and , our driver. They always handled situations with courtesy and patience. I loved the hotel and the staff members were always helpful and friendly. This was the trip of a lifetime for me!!
This was an excellent tour package! Very well organized, planned out in every detail.
The itinerary was wonderful. We saw so much in just eight days, but the trip never felt rushed. Our tour director was outstanding! He was so knowledgeable and experienced. Our bus driver, was also awesome. I was a little concerned about this being a large group tour, but my concerns were totally unfounded. Everything was so well organized - truly top notch! From the times we visited museums (later in the day less crowded) to the trolley taking us to the top of Montmartre to our excellent seats at the Moulin Rouge and making sure we saw the Eiffel tower at night. Even taking a chance visiting Versailles during the strike on September 10th. Overall, this was a fabulous trip. I would definitely use Trafalgar again as well as recommend them to my friends.
We covered pretty much all the top places you want to get to for an 8 day trip. Lunch at the Eiffel Tower was wonderful and we took advantage of all but one optional trip - they were all well worth it! , our tour director, was knowledgeable, with a good sense of humor, and , our driver, was amazing! Well done!
It's time for Trafalgar to update the itinerary. Specifically, museum visits should be with ample time to see art and other note worthy items, questions and the ability to see items on your own time including the gift shop. No perfume making. Cooking class is fine. And we want to know what is current in the city we are visiting including price of housing, employment, and other items of interest.
5 out of the 11 outings for the week were " optional." Causing additional financial burden to the cost of the trip.
A lot of walking but got to see everything. Not a lot of free time.
Covers all the basics and I feel like I have a better appreciation of the history
The itinerary was great and our Travel Director was excellent. He made the entire experience an unforgettable one. He was knowledgeable, funny, kind and provided so much detail in every excursion that he brought everything to life.
The perfume making workshop was in a small hot room everyone had to stand Could not hear teacher who was soft spoken there were only 3 ingredients to create a scent with and they were not pleasant could eliminate this from the itinerary the workshop I took from fragonard in the grasse location was more in-depth and created a better smelling scent The gluten free bakery could be skipped to allow more time for visiting notre dame More time at Versailles to see gardens and hamlet The cooking school was very good Enjoyed the museum tours and moulin rouge very much Monet’s garden was a highlight Dinner the first night was bland mashed potatoes and chicken, which was not very good
