Experience the magic of the Rhine in Flames on an unforgettable five-day cruise through the heart of Germany and France. This port-to-port journey starts and ends in Strasbourg, taking you along the romantic Rhine Valley, past vineyard-clad hills and the historic cities of Mannheim and Rüdesheim. The highlight of the tour is witnessing the ‘Rhine in Flames,’ when the river’s banks and castles are illuminated in a spectacular display of light and color. Perfect for those seeking a blend of scenic cruising, festive atmosphere, and cultural sightseeing, the USP is the once-a-year spectacle that transforms the Rhine into a glowing, magical wonderland.

day 1 - Strasbourg

Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. Our ship will sail through the night.

day 2 - RÜdesheim

Morning cruising through the beautiful Romantic Rhine Valley. With its castles, historic towns, vineyards, and the famous Lorelei rock, this sublime landscape, deeply connected to history and legend, has inspired many writers, painters, and composers. Join us for the optional excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Tour on a tourist train and stop at a wine tasting cellar, followed by a visit to the Museum of Mechanical Musical Instruments.
DISCOVERY: We'll go to the center of Rüdesheim to catch a gondola lift to the Niederwalddenkmal, and hike through the vineyards.

day 3 - RÜdesheim - Koblenz - The Rhine In Flames

The morning will be spent cruising. Take a tour of the old town with the ship's host or hostess. In the evening, our ship will sail towards Trechtingshausen. Tonight, we'll have a magical evening as we take part in a romantic and unforgettable experience: The legendary "Rhine in Flames”.

day 4 - RÜdesheim - Mannheim

The morning will be spent cruising. Join us on an optional CLASSIC / DISCOVERY excursion: Visit of Heidelberg. Its high quality of life comes through to visitors, who feel genuinely at home here. Tonight is our gala evening and dinner. Our ship will sail towards Strasbourg.

day 5 - Strasbourg

Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services.

Named after the founder of CroisiEurope, the MS Gérard Schmitter sails on the Rhine and the Danube, to meet the many wonders offered by these two romantic rivers. The MS Gérard Schmitter is an intimate-sized Premium ship, measuring 110m long and 11.40m wide. It can accommodate 174 passengers, in 87 cabins spread over three decks. The size of each cabin is 13.50m2, offering amenities and providing guests with all the comforts they need during their stay. Decorated in subtle chocolate brown shades, combined with glimpses of rosy-lilac, gives the ship a welcoming atmosphere. The decoration, created by Maria Rosa Rosello, pays tribute to the founder of CroisiEurope, who liked to paint delicate and flowery designs. Located on the middle deck, the restaurant, where all meals are served during the cruise, offers delicate cuisine in a refined setting, where large windows allow guests to fully enjoy the panorama. On this same deck is also the lounge / bar with a dance floor, while on the sun deck, an ideal place to relax and admire the landscapes, passengers can enjoy comfortable sunloungers, as well as a large shaded area.
