Mont Blanc Rambler Guided Hike

Well organised. Philippe was a great guide he provided lots of information and interesting facts about life in the Alps.

Trek true to fitness/difficulty rating. Hiking was paced well for our group. Majestic Views. Guide was experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and a wonderful human. being. Picnic lunches were magnifique. Well organised.

A great hike that requires a reasonable degree of fitness. Be prepared for all weather conditions and to have the ability to interact and enjoy the company of your fellow hikers.

Claire was able to adapt our route when unforeseen conditions arose, she did an excellent job.

We did TMB Ramble and Grand St Bernard to Ivrea. They were both beautiful and fulfilling hikes; no dramas, and our guide on TMB was fantastic.

The itinerary was great. Claire our guide was outstanding, pleasant, caring, knowledgeable and helpful. Could not have asked for better guide. One disappointment was we had to change route one day when the luggage did not arrive as there was a local marathon. They should have known that better and arranged the lugguage to arrive . We changed route for the day which would have been gorgeous day of hike in one of the most scenic places in Mont Blanc.

Overall, the hike was great! Incredible scenery at every turn! Our group was equally as great and Claire, our guide did a fantastic job keeping us on track and providing full info for each day’s hike! We had an issue with our luggage not getting to us one night due to a washed out road but Claire took care of the situation so we could get to our bags and pack enough gear to get us through the next 2 days without sacrificing the hike! It was a challenging hike for me so don’t underestimate the adventure when re viewing the hike options! Not exactly a hike and smell the roses it worth it!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Tour du Mont Blanc hiking tour. I was particularly happy with our guide, Florian. He was knowledgeable about mountains, terrains, plants and animals. He was always attentive to individual walkers, and looked after us very well. Under his guide, the 6.5 day walk was really enjoyable. Accommodation and food are not fancy, but that's exactly what expected.

This is a great trip for beginners. Our guide Clair is above and beyond the call of duties. However, the accommodation arrangements were somewhat below our already modest expectations, including some of the meals.

The Mt Blanc rambler trip was great. The guide Florian was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. We saw some beautiful stunning scenery. The trip was challenging and rewarding.

Our hike was very well organized and I felt safe and secure throughout the whole experience. We couldn’t have wished for a better guide than Florian. He was so informative about the nature and our surroundings and was so empathetic to our needs.

Trip was amazing the km per day wasnt what they said it would be so some of the older people were having trouble be nice if the revised it. Other than that our guide Elisa was amazing and patient kept going back n forth.Good person would definitely do another one with her!

The guide we had was absolutely amazing! We had some faster people and slower people in the group which made it a challenge for her to keep track of us all, but Elissa did a fabulous job.

The trip is designed for beginners to average hiker. Well planned. So we still can smell wild flowers when we hike. Our guide Belu is fabulous. She took good care everyone in the group. She stayed aside to instruct how to pass some tough road. I enjoyed it so much.

The trip went well with a fantastic guide leading us through some beautiful places and the views were amazing.

The trip was excellent - the guide was friendly and knowledgable.

The Mt Blanc smell the roses walk is a beautiful walk. There are some steep climbs, but our guide always set a pace that everyone could do. The food is authentic and incredible views and scenery.

I’d recommend this company if you’re considering doing a guided TMB trek. We had a wonderful guide, Máxim. He was very personable and knowledgeable, and makes the best salads! Ask for him if you’re doing a guided trek!

Wonderful hike with magnificent views and good company. The hike was challenging but well worth it. Our guide Bruno was very informative and helpful.

I recommend them and would use them again. Our guide, Val, was amazing and made sure everyone was safe and kept us briefed each day on mountain conditions. The accommodation was all organised for us, the food was plentiful and the luggage transfer was great as well.

I had a great time on our tour, difficult terrain but fantastic beautiful country. Our tour guide, Val, was excellent. Informative, caring, funny and directive in emergency and difficult situations. The 7 day TMB rambler was a great trek. The scenery was spectacular and our group size of 11 worked well in that we got to know each other. Our guide, Valentine was fun, highly competent and caring. The accommodation was generally good. We did a twin the share option. The hiking was strenuous, but manageable if you have done some training on hills. Most days we walked between 12-17 km. Would I do it again? Absolutely, if given the opportunity.

Such a wonderful hike, so much to take in while hiking and Vale was a great guide.

This was a first hiking trip for our family and a perfect introduction to this type of active vacation. Our guide, Bruno, made an incredible difference, providing helpful tips on technique, keeping everyone safe, sharing encyclopedic knowledge, giving a local view on everything -- he made it a wonderful trip and added so much more than directions and lunch. We are so happy we decided to go with this trip and are looking into what may be a good follow up vacation next year.

Everything I expected. Lovely pace set by our guide Olivier who was so knowledgeable about the area and local fauna. Great accommodation and food. Views were spectacular.

We had a wonderful time. It was well organized and the scenery was stunning throughout. Parts of the trail were more difficult than expected but our guide Bruno took good care of us. Also special thanks to Bruno for the healthy delicious lunches. They were much better than expected. I originally thought we'd have sandwiches only. But Bruno prepared salad, bread, cheese and even dessert. What else can you ask for?

We had a wonderful experience on the Mont Blanc Rambler tour. Our guide, Bruno, met us at the Chamomix train station as planned. (It might have been helpful to have a sign to help people find the right group to ease any stress.) The accommodations at the “gites” or “refuges” were better than expected. We had paid the up charge for private rooms, which we had all the nights except one (shared a room with bunk beds with the rest of the group). The meals were varied and regional based on where we stayed. For example, one night in Switzerland we had fondue, and one night in France we had raclette, a popular French dish also with cheese. We would consider going on a hiking trip with this company again.

It was a great experience that exceeded my expectations. The TMB 7 Day Rambler isn't a walk in the park so you need to be fit to enjoy it. But the amazing views make the steep ascents and descents worthwhile. It is a super popular and busy route so be prepared for that but generally fellow hikers are friendly and respectful. We had a small friendly group and our guide, Michelle, was an absolute star. I would throughougly recommend the TMB Rambler hike.
